When me and my boyfriend started talking again he would stay up with me for awhile when I would get back home from work to catch up and just chit chat, despite him having a hard, busy, and tiring job, now that a few months have passed he can barely text me throughout the day (which I don’t expect at all because I know he is very busy) but now instead of waiting for me to get out of work so we can have just a small conversation or ask about each other’s day he just goes to sleep or falls asleep without saying anything and in the morning he’ll answer to my last text message and no good morning or anything. On his days off we barely talk as well, because he’ll be busy with other stuff such as family parties or family movie night. We haven’t been able to connect much and I feel like we’re not even together. I’m feeling like I’m not much of a priority anymore. Can someone give me their thoughts on this?

Is there a window where you have a greater chance or an ideal place to put these little bee hotels? I had it placed so it was getting some in a morning but shade for rest of day (read this somewhere). I have moved it today, facing south and will have Sun most of the day.

At the end of 2019 I felt on top of the world. I was in good/decent shape and happy with myself. I got accepted to my dream school for a graduate program, and got to move to the country I had wanted to for so long.
At the very start of the pandemic (feb 2020) I moved to South Korea right when the first cases were being confirmed and the infamous cult caused the first major outbreak of Korea. I had intended to go to University and start my Masters there at the most prestigious school in Korea (SNU). Basically, as a foreign student, for the major that I chose I needed to meet a language requirement so I enrolled in their Korean Language program. I did that for about a year and met this great girl who really truly loved me and I honestly didn't know how to handle that because it was the first time that I really felt like that.
Towards the end of the first year there I was (what I would consider comfortably fluent) very proficient in Korean, around ~topik level 5 or 6, but covid was only getting worse and I didn't feel like I could go forward with my plan because of classes moving online and added stress of not being able to earn an income on a student visa, so I decided to become an English teacher. Well, right when I started to do interviews I broke up with this girl because I was stressed out and I thought that she was being too attached. It was an extremely rough breakup and I don't think that I ever really emotionally recovered from it.
Fast forward a bit and I got a job teaching English at a private academy in the most competitive neighborhood in Seoul, called Daechi. If you've ever seen the 'Attourney Woo' drama, that episode about the kids is based on this neighborhood. Skycastle too. It's really that intense. Anyways, I worked there for a year and decided that I hated it. I worked overtime most days (unpaid because school owners aren't regulated at all and we effectively have no power to check them on that). While working there, I gained weight, developed back problems, and wasn't able to have any sort of relationship because of my emotional trauma of that breakup. I met a couple of nice women, but it was me holding things back. All this time I've been paying off credit card debt accumulated throughout my grad-student year. The conversion rate for Korean Won was abysmal so I was living paycheck-to-paycheck.
I moved to a new school in 2021 and it was much more relaxed, the pay was better and life seemed alright. I finally caught covid for the first time in March of that year and gained a significant amount of weight after even though none of my habits changed. This just added to my stress (and back problems) and really caused me to have self esteem issues.
Now currently, I'm still at the same school, my relationship with management has deteriorated significantly but I can't quit because of how the visa system works. I've gained even more weight and now I'm extremely dissatisfied with myself and my decisions. I've been single ever since I broke up with that girl from my Uni. We've since gotten in contact with each other again and finally had talks about our breakup, but it just kinda reopened old wounds. Though some time has passed since then so currently I think we're neutral with each other again. I've only had a couple of flings here and there over the past couple of years but my self confidence is almost nothing at this point. My Korean language ability has also degraded significantly too because while I'm working I'm not allowed to speak Korean to students. I have to pretend that I do not understand any Korean. On top of that, most of my social circle just speak English because it is really quite hard to meet new people in Korea, and if you do there's a very high chance that they will be at least somewhat proficient in English. It feels like the language proficiency that I worked so hard for is fading away.
On the bright side, I have been getting more into the local music scene and developed a lot of good rep with people in the community. I have a couple of bands that I play with and I've been getting recognized going out sometimes, so that feels nice. When I (hopefully) get my Long term visa next year, I plan on quitting teaching and transitioning into other fields of work because I feel like Teaching English at private academies has been one of the most unhealthy things of my life that I've done in terms of my mental health. I just turned 31, but I'm still persevering, living in a one-room apartment smaller than my childhood bedroom. I'm not able to save up money well because I'm always sending money home to pay for my American credit cards despite the conversion rate, and I'm really wondering if all of this will be worth it in the end. I just want to be happy with someone, earn enough money to enjoy my music hobbies and travel regularly. I don't gaf about being rich, I just wanna be happy. Except for when I'm doing music, It feels like I forgot how to be happy.
tl;dr: I'm really, really fucking struggling to get myself together. I just don't really know what to do or how to fix my situation right now because I feel like no matter what I try it isn't going to be enough. Sorry for the rant, but I'm at my wit's end. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am going out of my mind. This happened two weeks ago and I don’t know what to do. I met a guy through networking and we hang out a couple of times (just as friends). I was really drunk but somehow I thought it would be nice just to meet up. I felt like he was a nice guy. When I came there I made it completely clear I had a boyfriend and was only interested in talking. We talked a bit and because I was so drunk I told him about my struggles with ptsd and anxiety after a recently drug rape I experienced. I told him he should be nice to me. But then he starts kissing me and talks of my clothes. I don’t do anything but tell him I don’t think this is a good idea. He has sex with me and don’t wanna use a condom and I’m on no protection. I just let him do it. I push him away when it’s gets to much but he just go back on me. I say many times I should leave. My memory is very blurry because I so drunk so I am afraid he might think I consent to it. But I also know from my last rape that it gets worse if you fight back because they don’t care about you really. He makes me shower and he has sex with me for maybe 2 hours. I wanna cry when I walk home and I feel really guilty because I went there myself so I was kind of asking for it. I had bruises on my knees and elbows. The days after barely sleep or eat. I feel like I lost the light in me. I want tell my boyfriend but I am afraid. Last time he had a hard time believing me, and I can bare to go through that again. I take a pill to stop possible pregnancy and get tested for std. I am only focusing on fixing this so I can forget it. But now two weeks after it’s still eating me up inside. I feel so sad and I don’t know how to tell my boyfriend or anyone. And I feel it was my fault for going to visit the guy when I was drunk. I don’t know if I went there to prove to myself that I had control in this situation and nothing would happen to me. But I don’t know if this rape at all? I have a really hard time with my boundaries after the last rape.

Hello. Our cat, a 11 year old tuxedo cat called Meow Meow (MM), was put down following the advice of a junior A&E vet and we just want some (although late) second opinion.
Bit of background - MM was healthy other than a slight change in breathing patterns (seemed to have a bit of difficulty breathing and so we booked for a visit to the vet in the weekend). We came home a few days ago to find MM on the floor with her hind legs stretched out and stiff, pupils dilated (but open eyes) and unresponsive but was still breathing. We took her to an A&E vet immediately who advised us that she likely had HCM which caused a blood clot to form in her heart, and a piece of that clot broke off causing a clot in the arteries to her hind legs and brain. They mentioned aneurysm somewhere but it wasn't clear whether that was the cause of symptoms). They also told us that if it was her hind legs only, then with blood thinning treatments she would have around a 5% of successful treatment, but since it was to her brain as well, it was essentially pointless to attempt treatment and the humane thing would be to euthanise her. On that advise, we had to put her down.
However, from our research online, it appears that while she may have the underlying HCM condition, treatment options were available to a much better chance of success than they suggested. Further, it appears quite unlikely for a thromboembolism to occur simultaneously to the areas of the brain and hind legs. Lastly, i understand that blood clots to the brain (stroke) tend to have milder symptoms that what she had (completely dilated pupils and unresponsive to our movement but still reacted to our touch and sound which seemed like she was struggling to look at us but couldn't see us). In her last moments before she was put down, she was licking her own upper lip for a while then threw up a light pink vomit.
My question is: 1) what do you think was wrong with her, and 2) whether treatment options would have been feasible / worth trying if her condition was as they advised or what you think was wrong with her (if it is different from what our vet told us).

Just replaced my original Chromecast (no longer supported) with the latest Chromecast TV 4K. I went through all the setup steps on my iPhone and see the TV itself in the Google home app on iPhone. Everything seems to be working fine on the Chromecast TV itself. I can adjust settings on the Chromecast TV but I can’t find the Chromecast device in the home app. I used to be able to do things like see information about past ambient mode pictures and settings, but now I have no idea where that’s gone.

Hi all,
We recently inherited a 30 gallon established community tank, and we decided to increase the neon tetra population from 3 to 7. We purchased 4 neon tetras 4 weeks ago and have them in an 8 gallon quarantine tank. We didn't inspect them at the store, as the salesperson was having a lot of trouble capturing them, and once he had them he quickly whisked them away into the back to put them in a bag for us. However, as soon as we got home we noticed one of them has a little thing on his lip (Lippy) and another had very dull or patchy skin, we call her Patchy. Patchy's fins also look a little damaged at the tips, and when the light is on, the patches look very white.
The other two are showing no signs of anything out of the ordinary at all. All four of them are eating well and behaving normally. Lippy and Patchy's conditions don't appear to have gotten worse at all either.
Does anyone recognize this as a disease/fungus we should be worried about? Should we bring the healthy tetras into the community tank? Any opinions or advice are appreciated, as we are new to the hobby.

Hello! For starters, I have no previous coding experience and I've graduated from humanities. Nonetheless, I would like merge these two disciplines with a major, both contributing to my humanities field and to game design.
But most of the comments were about how useless it is and to get a job in the industry and such.
I don't have previous work experience, can't do QA because I lack basic knowledge, so I don't get hired even as an unpaid intern, trust me I've tried. I also don't want to / and literally can't because of my finances / have a fresh start and get a degree in Game Dev. Masters in this field costs lower than undergrad in my country.
I thought maybe by starting masters, I could learn how to code and how game dev process works at its home base. I won't be relying on my masters degree while looking for a job but to my experience and possible games that I had developed during doing my masters.
But it all ties to me being able to gain that experience in the first place. If I cannot add any game dev project during that time, I feel like all I'll end up with is going to be a piece of paper.
I feel at odds, I would really appreciate a word of wisdom. :')
