I have some headphones, IEMs, and DAC/amp for sale.
Timestamp (5/19/23)

Westune W60 - $215

W60 photos
I bought these less than a year ago from the previous owner. These are the original version. It seems that all the tips have not been used. There are also a cleaning tool and the tool for replacing the faceplates. The gold faceplates are currently installed, and they cannot escape the fate of developing the crack under the screws. The blue and red faceplates appear to be in perfect shape. The hard carrying case and two factory cables are included. The box is in good condition as well. They are very comfortable and the sound is great.

Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro - $329

DT1990 Pro Photos
These are excellent sounding headphones. They are clean and in great condition. I believe all factory accessories are included, such as two pairs of ear pads, two stock cables, and the hard case. Also included is a nice aftermarket cable terminated in 3.5mm plug with a 6.5mm adapter. They didn’t come with the original box.

Hifiman EF400 - $359

EF400 Photos
This is a very powerful all-in-one unit with a Hifiman's Himalaya R2R DAC. The sound is clean and dynamic. It pairs well with all of my Planar and dynamic driver headphones. This is a pre-owned unit I bought about 6 months ago.
I also have a LetShuoer S12 (open-box) and a BQEYZ Summer (like-new) available for sale. I will add pictures later.
Price include CONUS shipping and Paypal G&S. Please comment below before pm.
Thank you.

2023.06.03 15:48 SameRightsForAllofUs A story about Upgrades

A story about Upgrades
Hello my friends.
Glad that you’re here and about to read my story.
It’s a story about beginnen my audio journey, about side grades and upgrade and about how you should value what you have.
Let me Beginn. A few years ago I found a YouTuber. You all know him as Zeos. I was spellbound by his videos and his enormous collection and claims about how Studio or audiophile headphones outperform ever gaming headset.
At this point I was already pursuing the best possible audio experience for gaming and music. I had some cheap gaming headsets and some more expensive ones. I found the MMX300 Gen 1 and really liked those but I thought there has to be something better.
So I bought a pair of SHP 9500. and I kinda liked them. A bit loose on the head but overall good cans especially for the price of 60€ (which I paid at the time).
But like all of us I wanted more. So I got one pair after the other. X2HR, AKG 7xx, 770 pro, Tygr, 560 s, MMX gen 2 and some others I can’t remember.
But I didn’t realise I was actually only side grading. Sure some of those cans stood out from the others like the X2 with their heavy bass focus, but none of those were really better than the others.
So I bit the bullet and spent almost 500€ on a pair of 1990 pros. And holy macaroni those cans…. Those damn cans… they opened my eyes. They where… beautiful. The build quality was supreme, they clarity unmatched by anything I had so far. The bass was really nice and extended good into the sub bass. Super comfortable and the imaging was a game changer for me.
So I kept the 1990 pros, sold almost all my other cans and only kept my custom MMX 300 gen 2 and the 1990 pros. I bought a 177x as a closed back but it didn’t even came close to the 1990.
After a while the honeymoon was over, I still enjoyed the 1990 pros every day and only looking at them made me happy. They just look so damn nice.
Now guess what happened. Again. I wanted more. After researching what cans fit my need the focal clear where the new milestone I had to reach. I got lucky and got a brand new pair for sub 800€.
Happy with my new purchase I sold my 177x and my 1990 pro and bought noirs and radiance instead.
Finally the clears arrived and they where… good. But that’s it, they only where good. Sure they had more punch in the bass but less soundstage and they leaked sound in so badly. They even seem to amplify the ambient sound.
Sure in a quiet environment they do fine but for gaming with loud fans? Nope. (I run full custom water cooling at 800rpm and it’s too loud for me).
So no clears for PC use for me. Radiances and noir where my way to go. And they did fine. Radiance imaging is good but only in front of the listener they can’t handle sound from behind too good. The noirs on the other hand are excellent in imaging and gaming performance and have a really nice tonality but the pads are awful. Too squishy and the foam twists around in the leather…
So I looked back to my 1990 pros and asked myself: why did I sell my 1990 pros? They where everything I wanted. They where comfy, didn’t leak sound in our out too much, they had perfect imaging and where really detailed…
So the weeks went by and everyday I thought about my 1990 pros…
So guess what happened. I bought another pair again. Today they arrived and the moment I put them on I was at home. I’m back from a long journey I should’ve never had gone on…
I’m home

2023.06.03 15:39 oldrjohnson11 2000D Corsair PC case thoughts

I love building my own PC and I've been doing so for about 20 years. I'd like to give my thoughts during the assembly of the Corsair 2000D:

  1. Obviously you need a mini-itx motherboard. I opted for an ASRock A320M-ITX motherboard but I ran into some issues which I will discuss later.
  2. The parts I used are as follows:
I decided against using the PWN controller in the 2000D and instead decided to use the Commander Core. This would give me full iCUE software access to control the fans.
The Corsair iCue H150i Elite Capellix XT AIO which has a 360mm rad fit perfectly. It is important that the AIO tubes be at the top.
The PSU slid into place with zero difficulties.
There are going to be numerous cables and the only solution for cable management is zip ties.
Problems: The ASRock A320M-ITX did not work out of the box with the Ryzen 5 5600 CPU. On the ASRock support page for the motherboard it says that the CPU should work with the latest BIOs. I found a cheap Athlon 3000G CPU online for a cheap price and bought it. With that CPU installed the system worked fine. I then upgraded the BIOs. I checked to make sure the latest BIOs version was indeed installed. I swapped out the Athlon 3000G for the Ryzen 5 5600. No graphics output. Swapped the CPU back to the Athlon 3000G and the system worked again. OK so I sent a tech issue to ASRock and I am waiting on their reply.
The ASRock motherboard has the power and power LED connectors too close to the graphics card slot. So you have to be careful, especially when installing or removing the GPU.
The Commander Pro works well but there is no really good place to mount it in the 2000D.
Plus Points: The 2000D is very simple to dismantle. Easy to put everything back together as well. The 2000D has a solid feel and is easy to carry.
The I/O port cable routing for me was simple enough.

2023.06.03 15:38 xxImNotARobotxx I know this might not consider as gaming(pc/console) but help will be nice rather than kicking me down by saying this ain't sub(if possible can you redirect to me the targeted sub)

So my question is i have a old phone (k20pro) which have kind of heating issue and India temperature generally doesn't help. So I'm looking for mobile cooler as people said blackshark fun cooler 3 pro, and Rog cooler are two recommendation after so many video watching but I can't find the Indian place to buy black shark cooler
So where to buy it online or which are proper website for them like if I order in would actually get what i ordered without paying a lot than mrp of cooler.
I found this site
:-https://www.ubuy.co.in/product/7GUVX2UNW-black-shark-fun-cooler-3-pro-cell-phone-cooler-20w-power-fast-cooling-mobile-phone-radiator-with-in-app-control-temperature-drop-by-up-to-30
Is this site legit or some scam or overpriced site(as it's price conversion at Max mrp 70$which got 5k Indian. And this site show 5k as discounted price and original listing is 6.8k which is 80$. Currently outside India this listing is 35-40$ which is 3-4k at Max. So I'm feeling I'm overpaying it as well as is site legit or the product i will get will be legit because it's 1st time buying this stuff so I don't know what to expect)
Thanks in advance for any help regarding this product or redirecting me properly.

2023.06.03 15:29 iammaxhailme Is this a good car lease buyout offer? (USA)

Car: 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. ~33.5k miles. No accidents. Location: Maryland Current buyout price: ~17,300. Lease end: Oct 20 2023, so buying out the lease would save 4 months of lease payments, about 1,240. Effectively making the buyout price roughly ~16k (not sure if months are pro-rated or not)
Kelly blue book thinks a trade value of about 23k for it, but then I'd have to get another car.
Secondary question: If I do buy out, buying it all out now is better, right? I've been saving up for a car since I knew my lease would end, so I can write a check for that amount tomorrow if needed (but not too much more, I don't think I could cover a fully new car similar that would presumably be about 30-35k).

2023.06.03 15:01 TallenAtear 2x2.5gb Networks Cards to 4x1gb Synology over SMB Multichannel 460+mb/sec

I have seen various posts and some confusing comments, so I wanted to write up my own experience with SMB Multichannel.
See setup image;
https://postimg.cc/ts8XX51P
I went from my old 1gb switch copy speed of 116mb/sec, to now 300-460mb/sec by upgrading my switch and adding another 2.5gb network card/connection.
This is a way less expensive route than adding a 10gb network card in both the pc and Synology and using a 10gb switch. Right now 2.5gb is pretty cheap for network cards (USBC-2.5gb is under $40, 2.5gb PCI cards are under $30, 2.5gb switches $125, or 2.5gb with a 10gb uplink under $160.) I did purchase a 10gb card but it’s only running at 2.5gb for now. (Canadian Price Samples)
Depending on your Array and Type, and the number of disks used will affect the max transfer speed. This is tested with 5 x 12tb IronWolf drives, 1 x 16tb IronWolf Pro in a SHR1 volume, with 2 x Samsung M2 R / W Cache in a DS1821+
Crystal Disk Mark v8, using 4gb test, shows; 401mb/sec read, and 462mb/sec write (assuming the write cache is helping here)
Anyhow happy with the results of my 2.5gb upgrade at a really reasonable price vs going the 10gb, much more expensive route.
This was all done using DSM 7.2, with no real setting changes or geek stuff on the computer end using Windows 11. On the Synology End, check that;
Control Panel / File Services / SMB / Advanced Settings / Others
- Enable SMB3 Multichannel (Checked)
Control Panel / Network / Network Interfaces
- All four network interfaces showing connected separately - not bonded
The Switch I purchased is NICGIGA 9 Port 2.5gb with 1 Port SPF+ 10gb, fanless and does not get too warm; it’s identical hardware / same pcb board if taken apart and sold in over three flavors; SODOLA, NICGIGA, MOKERLINK, etc)
Great Video about the 2.5gb switches;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgLU-HT1E64
Hope this helps someone else that was wondering if the jump to 2.5gb is worth the effort.

2023.06.03 14:58 qAstrov 14 pro max an upgrade from oneplus 9?

I've been considering switching from Android to iOS for a while now. Currently I have a OnePlus 9 from 2021. The other day I bought a new Iphone 14 pro max because the price was 'only' 900 euros (400 euros below retail). However, I haven't unboxed it yet, because I'm now debating with myself if it's worth the money and how big of an upgrade it actually is compared to my current oneplus 9?
of course I'm aware of the differences between android and iOS, and I would love to go back to iOS. Last time I owned an iPhone was the Iphone 5S which was great.
Anyone that have made the samw switch from a newer oneplus phone to the 14 pro/14 pro max I would love to hear what you think of the switch and if it was worth it.

2023.06.03 14:56 TiffanyBlue0ABAB5 Sometimes the right brush helps (journey from dry brittle hair to pretty darn decent hair)

Like many of you here on this sub, and other hair care subs, I had an issue with my hair and couldn't resolve it. I tried multiple solutions and finally found one that worked for me and I hope this can help you.
My hair: Type 1B or 1C when it's shorter and 2B when it's longer (past shoulder length). It is greying around the temples and underneath. I had some wonderful highlights done which were screwed up when my colorist called out sick and the salon felt comfortable allowing someone else to do my next session. My hair felt like doll's hair - super stiff and plasticky. They tried to fix it in house, but couldn't. All my money was refunded and then the salon asked me to not return after they screwed it up so bad. I had to cut off over 10 inches. Found out later they allowed the receptionist to apply and rinse out my toner and hair treatment while the colorist took a trip to Starbucks for a Frappuccino, I didn't know at the time, but found out after the damage was done. Right now it finally made it passed 'bob' length and almost to my shoulders.
Covering the grey: After cutting off all my hair after that disaster of a color mishaps, I decided to go back to my natural hair color while growing out, grey hair and all. As it grew, I would get trimmed off what remained of the hair dye/colored part and really tried to take care of it. When it finally got to bob length I decided to go back in to get the roots/grey covered up. After two different sessions of the colorist 'warming up' my color, which I never asked for, I decided to just do my grey areas at home on with a Demi permanent color about every 2 months on my roots and just the grey area.
Problem with the ends: I was still having a LOT of issues with the ends of my hair though - despite all the deep conditioning masks, using hair oils, etc, it just was SO brittle and dry on the ends only. I've always had a super oily scalp and dry ends. I made the mistake of listening to advice from a hairstyling YouTuber and spent a waste of money on Redken's Volume Injecting Shampoo (seriously, if you have medium or thick hair, avoid....this guy said to use it on medium hair). Same stylist said to use a leave-in condition, which actually did help, but not the brand he recommended. My ends were just SO tangled and dry.
How I tested and failed and solved this issue:
- I have oily roots. As much hate as there is for sulfates, my roots need sulfates. I always always shampoo twice. I started to use a sulfate shampoo first to really clean my scalp and shampoo with a non-sulfate shampoo second. If my hair is really greasy or oily, I'll shampoo twice with the sulfate shampoo.
- Condition in the shower but I also use a spray leave in conditioner after it's towel dried. I found less is more for my hair overall, BUT I do spray extra on the part of my ends that tangle. I found using a gentle vent brush to go through my hair afterwards helps distribute.
- Blow dry spray is key - again, I found out through trial and error that I don't need a lot, just a good light mist. I used to air dry my hair ALL the time, but it got thicker and more tangled when I did this and I could tell my hair shaft was swelling up and staying that way. I found it was more damaged - plus it takes over two hours to air dry and I cannot show up to work with sopping wet hair. If I shower at night, I find this is okay, but I try not to wash my hair at night. There are some of these combined with leave-in conditioners that work well for my hair too.
- THE BIGGEST CHANGE - using the right brush to blow dry. I used to just use a flat vented brush or a paddle brush while blowdrying my hair. It looked just fine, but it didn't have a lot of movement and still felt stiff regardless of what products I put in my hair. Shifting back to a rounded blow dry brush was the biggest game changer. I HATE using it and I'm going to state that. My arms get tired, I start sweating while using it because my hair is thick and it takes effort, I have to work in sections, but damn it makes my hair smoother and shinier and my hair moves! I can run my fingers through my hair without tangles and it feels good. I only blow dry and style on the day I shampoo and wash my hair. I don't use heat on the other days, I just adjust how I wear my hair that day.
Caveat - I don't like that massive one-step hair dryeround brush that is all the rage a few years ago. I found that particular tool did way too much damage to my hair because it seems to be hotter. Just a plain hand-held round brush in the largest barrel for your hair if I plan to wear it close to straight. There are a few smaller barrel ones that are meant for styling only in a lower heat setting, I use those at the end only, not for drying my hair.
- Hair oil - Using hair oil on my ends after blowdrying and using what little bit is left on my ends to go over my baby hairs up front has made a difference. I also put a bit of hair oil on my ends only about an hour before bed. I don't use a lot, just enough to prevent drying out.
- Hair oil before shampooing or overnight. I've read this on this sub and others and it actually works wonders. I use the OGX extra strength coconut miracle oil for this, but I'm sure there are others. I've used the Kerasate and even Argan oil. I prefer the coconut one for the price point. Either 2 hours before shampooing, best over the weekend, or the night before, put a lot of oil in your hair on the mids and ends. If doing the night before, either be prepared to change your pillowcase in the morning, or sleep with a sleep cap. When shampooing out, you do need a sulfate shampoo or clarifying shampoo to help wash off the excess oils for the first shampoo. Doing this once a week has really helped.
- Slumber cap. This has helped tremendously. There are loads on Etsy and amazon. I have a favorite I found off Etsy (as an example only) because I like it's adjustable. You can look and choose one for your head and hair length. I cannot speak enough how much a silk or satin bonnet for sleeping has helped with my hair health.
- Limit dry shampoo. Since I have oily roots, I can maybe go three days before I have to shampoo again, even using dry shampoo.

My favorite products that have worked for me during all this. They do range in price point and I use drugstore and higher end.
Shampoo:
Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two
John Frieda Blue Crush for Brunettes <- only when my hair starts getting brassy
Kristen Ess Signature Shampoo
Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle
Redken Hair Cleansing Cream <- omg, HG. I bought the mini size to try and a month later I still have product in it, you DON'T need a lot. Worth it.
L'Oreal Ever Pure Bond Strengthening Shampoo <- new find, very happy with this so far
Kerastase Bain Satin 2 <- I use this mostly in the winter

Conditioner:
Matching conditioners to John Frieda products
Kerastase Nutritive Masquintese irisome <- have purchased for over 6 years. You only need a half walnut size glop even with longer hair. Less is more.
Hask conditioners in those packets you get at CVS/Walgreen. I can usually get two uses out of each packet
Nexxus conditioners in those packets, I like those too. Basically any deep conditioning drug store packets, even the keratin ones I find are good for a once a week or once a month deep conditioner

Dry shampoo:
Eva NYC Freshen Up <- have repurchased for years. I have brown hair and it doesn't leave white marks
Not Your Mother's Clean Freak

Leave in conditioneblow dry spray:
It's a 10 Miracle Silk Leave in
L'Oreal Ever Pure 21-in-1 color caring spray <- new find, I love this one

Hair Oils:
Verb Ghost Oil
Olaplex No.7
OGX coconut miracle oil
Kerastase Elixir Ultime <- lasts forever HG
Paul Mitchell Smoothing super skinny serum
Hask Argan Oil

Hair Cream:
Olaplex No. 6 (I mix this with the Paul Mitchell skinny serum sometimes, it's fabulous)

Brushes:
Honestly, they are all Conair brand from Target. My oldest one is hitting 6 years.

Round brush with hot air tool (doesn't get super hot for styling only):
Conair Infiniti Pro

Covering up those grey hairs without resorting to box dye:
Moroconnoil Color Conditioner in Cocoa (there are other shades) - use a hair color brush to apply to grey. Leave on about 15 minutes then add more to the rest of the hair to even out the color. The grey turns more of a light blondish color, but blends well.
Christophe Robin Shade Mask in Ash Brown - this does ashy brown SO well, but damn it's expensive.
John Frida's Brilliant Brunette Collection. Great if you want to go a bit deeper. Again, apply to the roots first and wait, then work through the rest of the hair.
Color Wow Root Cover Up - okay, I made fun of this at first but it's become a favorite now. If I pull my hair back and got some grey poking through around where my hair meets the top of my ears or want to tidy up the part in my hair, this stuff works great. AND it sticks around if you don't shampoo the next day. Once you get the hang of how to apply it, you can do it fast and it honestly does look pretty natural.

Hope all this help you on your hair journey. My goal is to grow it back to bra strap length. Since we're going to be moving in a few months I'm putting off going to a salon for color touch up and wait until we get to our new location.

2023.06.03 14:55 WinterTactics Looking for help on pc just turning off during gaming(psu related?)

Hello! Usually, I wouldn't ask for advice but I'm lost at this point
So I've recently attempted to start playing Star Citizen, it's clearly unoptimized however my PC randomly just turns off when playing specifically when doing a quantum jump(seems quite resource heavy)
My CPU gets to around 90c max, video card 80-83c max when playing. pc always turns after the first or second jump.
I've never had issues like this before but I also know it's quite a resource-intensive game so I wouldn't be surprised. I suspect it's my power supply, it's only a 550w, I know a RX 6700xt it's recommended to have a 650w but I've gotten by this far so I'm not sure.
Would love to hear some ideas on what it could be, I'm assuming it's the PSU but just wanted some more advice before I jump the gun on an upgrade

2023.06.03 14:52 TheEmperor75 Momentum 4 vs AirPods Pro

I have some Apple AirPods Pro (1st gen). They’re really practical and the sound quality is ok. I don’t have a home sound system and the only other place I listen to music is in the car which has an upgraded audio system with sub.
Anyway, am thinking of buying the Momentum 4 for listening at home. I doubt I’ll wear them out and about, the AirPods are more practical for that. I don’t necessarily need noise cancellation but I don’t like noise leakage ie I don’t want anyone else being able to hear what I’m listening to.
So for anyone who has the AirPods Pro, how does the audio quality compare to the Momentum 4? Are they worth the £299 asking price for my use case? Or am I just going to be disappointed?

2023.06.03 14:42 heaveninblack Help finishing a 1440p gaming build

Hey, I'm looking to build a gaming PC for my friend. I've already purchased a 7600x cpu, MERC 6950 xt, and Super Flower Leadex 850 W so those need to be part of the build. Thank you for any recommendations and I apologize if I messed up the formatting. I also put together a list of parts but I'm not confident in much besides the CPU cooler.
1. What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games (ex: resolution, FPS, settings) or programs you will be using.
Gaming at 1440p and web browsing.
2. What is your maximum PRE-TAX budget before rebates and shipping?
$2200
3. When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
Within the next week or so.
4. What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ex: toweOS/monitokeyboard/mouse/etc)
Tower
5. If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? How old are they? Brands and models are appreciated.
Peripherals and Monitor but they are old, good deals on new ones would be appreciated but not necessary. 7600x, Merc 6950 xt and Super Flower Leadex 850 W already purchased
6. Will you be overclocking (ex: CPU/GPU/RAM)? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line?
Not interested except for easy, simple OCing I can do for them
7. Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSDs, mass HDDs, Wi-Fi / Bluetooth, VR, VirtualLink, tensor cores, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc.)
2 TB SSD.
8. Do you have any specific case preferences (ex: mITX/mATX/mid-towefull-tower sizes, styles, colours, window or not, LED lighting, etc.), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
Something simple, cost effective and ideally easy to install and manage cables. Likely full size tower. RGB not needed.
9. Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? Note: some post-secondary students can get Windows 10 for free at OnTheHub or through their school's IT software distribution department.
No
10. Will you be upgrading this PC in the future (ie: will you swap out better parts later on or will you build an entirely new tower later)? If so, when?
Hoping to upgrade CPU and GPU in around 4-5 years.
11. Do you have a brand preference? (ex: AMD/Intel for CPUs, AMD/NVIDIA for video cards, etc.)
No

2023.06.03 14:36 Glibbins I can get Polk S35 for half price. Worth it or no?

I need a centre speaker with a low profile for my setup, and the Polk S35 was recommended to me in store. It is currently half price on sale ($329 from $659 AUD). On google it has excellent reviews but on Reddit I've seen people say it's not that good so I'm hesitant.
I could get the Polk S30 which is also half price ($300) but it would be awkward to add to my setup so if it's not that much better I'd rather stick to the S35.
Is half price too good a deal to pass up or is there other options? (Keeping in mins that ~20cm (8 inch) tall centre speakers will be awkward in my setup)
Edit: my current setup is:
Elac debut b5.2s
Yamaha rx-v385
Emotiva basx8 (going to upgrade to PB-1000 Pro)
