Why is my ac breaker tripping

Regression in this game confuses me. Once any of my players are 27 or 28 they are done for. The oldest player in my save that is still competent to play hockey is 30, and he’s a 2.5 star. It doesn’t make much sense as to why veterans would lose skills such as offensive or defensive read, screening, positioning, and many more. Do they forget how to play? Yeah they will be slower but it doesn’t make sense to me. I know about the aging hidden stat, but it still doesn’t make sense as to why everyone is retired by 32 or 33. Even my star players drop off a cliff by age 29. It’s too much in my opinion and would love to hear anyone else thinking the same.

(20f) Im bipolar II, i have PTSD, im about 135 lbs, i vape, and i don’t drink a lot of caffeine. I have PTSD from being [email protected], and i’m on lamictal 200mg,latuda 60mg, trazodone 50mg, and i think like 5mg of propanolol but im not sure (it’s really low dose for anxiety).
I was [email protected] three years ago, and ever since i’ve had problems with my vagina. I had chlamydia, got that fixed but it took 2-3 round of antibiotics. Planned parenthood told me if the last round didn’t work they would have to inform the health department. At first they said i had BV with the chlamydia, chlamydia gone then i had a yeast infection, then BV, then yeast infection, i’ve been to the gyno like 8 times in the last 3 years.
I’ve basically had a constant yeast infection. I’m itchy, it burns sometimes, when i go pee it feels like a burning sensation that lasts up to an hour or two after i’ve gone. I’ve been tested for a UTI and it’s not that. I got a pap smear a couple months ago because i was worried i might have cancer since my vagina is so out of whack, i don’t have cancer or HPV. I’m supposedly STD free. I don’t understand why my vagina is still having problems.
I honestly think some of my issue is my body is storing the trauma and making it worse. There HAS to be something else going on though. I’ve brought it up to gynecologist and she just says it’s a yeast infection and lots of women have recurring ones. I’ve tried probiotics but they’re like $60 a bottle where I live and they kind of help but it never fully helps.
It’s ruining my mental state. I feel disgusting. I feel like he gave me something and it’s still inside me. Something feels wrong. Its been THREE YEARS and i maybe get a week break here and there but it never lasts.
Do you have any ideas? Could they test me for something that they haven’t already? I hate going to the gyno because it’s triggering having anyone touch me other than my girlfriend. I know it’s clinical and they’re not assaulting me but it still feels very unsafe for me to be exposed like that. I haven’t gone back for a couple months because of how much it affects me after. It’s so hard to go but if anyone has suggestions about what it could be please let me know & i’ll bring it up to my gyno. I’m so sick of this. Please help me

Y'ALL. Lily Mayne just A) stole my heart and B) induced a major book hangover with her Monstrous series. This is an MM monster + dystopian romance series, with 7 books so far - they should be read in order for best results. The first book in the series is {Soul Eater by Lily Mayne}.
Let's get into it.
The World-Building:
It's giving post-apocalyptic, "Last of Us" vibes. A giant tear between worlds opened up 20 years ago, and monsters of all sorts came to Earth. The U.S. is now controlled by the military, with locked-down cities on the coasts and raider camps in the midwest. I loved how each of the books gave us a new insight into the world, which kept it from getting repetitive. In some books, we get some "traveling across the country and surviving" content, and in others, they're in more of a bubble. I loved it all.
The Characters:
I would protect every single one of her MCs with my life. They're all fucking cinnamon rolls, but like, in a different flavor. She did an amazing job of making them all unique and giving them their own voices, and yet I still loved every single one of them so goddamn much. (But my favorites were my shy, anxious, or grumpy babes - as always: Wyn, Hunter, and Moth.) She gave us himbos, Stern Brunch Daddies, Ice Queens (kings?), shy sugar muffins (her language, it's great), and more.
The Plot:
Amazing, incredible, perfect, no notes. As I said above, she kept it fresh and new in each book. The way she weaves the books together is lovely and it means all of our favorite MCs become friends and help each other and have little cameos, which is my favorite. I think she struck a perfect balance of engaging plot, without it being aggressively dark or stressful. There are some dark themes - slavery, torture, cannibalism, cults, monster deaths, human deaths - but with the exception of a few scenes, I didn't feel that it was gratuitously explicit. There are more detailed CWs on her website for each book.
The Spice:
- The steam was STEAMING. Like so good. The steam started around 50% for each book, which is my lower limit usually - any earlier than that and I find it repetitive and boring. There were a few times where I was like "girlie, this is a stressful situation, why are they boning!!!!" but I quickly forgave her.
- Lily is my new consent queen!!!! The way she handled power imbalances between MCs and how that influences consent was *chefs kiss.* And we've got consent dirty talk in most of the books which I adore.
- Monster dicks. That's all.
No Third Act Breakups!!!
- Most of the conflict in the books was external, given the whole monster apocalypse thing.
- When there was a conflict between the love interests, it was pretty much always immediately resolved with some Good Old Fashioned Communication and Understanding. Her heroes just *see* each other and the way they communicated their wants and needs was beautiful.

TLDR: These books are perfect and steamy and fun and emotional and I wish I could read them for the first time again. Someone come talk to me about these books so these feelings don't explode my brain, thanks!!!!!!

The drow believe the Luxon is a god. Their creation myth claims the Luxon was the prime force in shaping Exandria and creating the primordials through the chaos their light brought to Exandria. During this, the Luxon shattered itself into the motes of light that became the beacons.
At some point later on, Predathos came to Exandria and wreaked havoc and ate two of the gods, specifically the gods of Endless Shadow and Fate. Now, it could be just coincidence that these were the two consumed, but what if not. Fate and destiny has always been a big part of the stories of Exandria. We know the Luxon asks the question “what am I, what is my purpose?”.
Well, what is the purpose of light but to remove shadow? What is the biggest understanding you can have of your purpose but to understand your fate, to learn what you are meant to do?
What if Predathos is the entropy left over from when the Luxon broke apart? It is the other half of the Luxon, the back of the same coin that is still trying to answer those questions, but in the only way it can, through the chaotic nature of consumption as opposed to the Luxon’s ordered nature of consumption through consecutive.
What if Ludinus is consecuted or something similar, but not through the Luxon but through Predathos? He’s old, he has ties to Predathos, he wants the gods gone. But why?
How do the rest of the gods play in to this? This being wants to eat these gods to absorb their knowledge. To learn all there is, so that this being can understand. I think Ludinus is either purposefully using this for his own gains or being blindly ignorant of the true indifference Predathos/Luxon has for the outcome of the lesser beings as long as it’s questions are answered.
I keep coming back to the question of what is the Luxon, is it related to Predathos, and why did Predathos eat those two gods specifically? We haven’t really gotten good explanations for those yet.

It's such a lazy system where someone can just lay prone 400 meters away and ping your location for you to show up on the map for 20 seconds making it impossible to sneak up on tanks of flank objectives
Why is it a thing even the so called "Hard core/realistic servers have pinging enabled
I've received majority of the awards on playstation for destroying tanks but it's mad annoying when I'm sneaking h though tall grass and a tank drives up to my exact location and shoots me because 16 seconds earlier someone doing sweet fxkol pinged me and now gets a kill assists

Me and my gf are both working and are both early in our careers. A few months ago I got a £200 bonus from work for passing some exams. As soon as I got it my gf was asking what I was going to spend it on and talking asking if I was going to get her a little present with it etc. She mentioned going out for a meal a few times and I thought it would be a nice thing to do so we went to a nice restaurant in our area that we have been wanting to try and I paid for us.
My gf got a £500 bonus from work last month and when she was talking about how to spend it I jokingly asked what she was getting me. She said nothing and that she was going to treat herself to some new clothes and a night at a nice spa near us. I suggested going out for a meal like we did with my bonus and she said if we go out we'll have to split the bill since she wont be paying for the full meal. I was a little disappointed since she kept going on at me to do something for us when I got my bonus.
It's not even just the meal. For example if I go to the shop to grab something and she asks me to pick something up which I'm happy to do but on the rare occasion I ask my gf to grab me something she'll ask me to transfer her the money for it. I pointed out her hypocrisy when it comes to us getting things for each other and she just said I can't tell her what to do with her money. I get that but she won't see that she expects to be able to do that to me. She went quiet and didn't answer when I asked why she expects me to get things for her when I get a bonus or go to the shop etc but she is unwilling to do that for me. Does anyone have any advice?
tl;dr My gf expects me to use part of the money I get from bonuses on getting her things but refuses to do the same for me and can't see the hypocrisy. Does anyone have any advice?

Okay let's get started. Have you ever wondered why Pat included all of the parts about inertia and thermodynamics? Heat exchange, binder's chill, all of it? I've gone through and been collecting the pieces that I believe have to do with the creation of the Fae.
Let's start with the simplest piece. The iceless

I made my way around the corner of the bar and knelt to look at the iceless. It was a stone-lined box the size of a small traveling trunk... It was about as simple a piece of artificing as could be made. No moving parts at all, just two flat bands of tin covered in sygaldry that moved heat from one end of the metal band to the other. It was really nothing more than a slow, inefficient heat siphon.

Okay, simple concept very easy to grasp. But let's say you're building something not simple. Why is heat siphoning so important?

The technical term for it was “thaumic overfill,” but even Elxa Dal tended to refer to it as slippage.
“Smelled like pork,” Manet said grimly. “Damnedest thing. Felt bad for him of course, but you can only feel so much pity for an idiot. A little slippage here and there, you hardly notice, but he must have slipped two hundred thousand thaums inside two seconds.” Manet shook his head, not looking up from the piece of tin he was engraving.
“Thermal slippage is fairly common though,” Manet continued. “Now kinetic slippage ...” He raised his eyebrows appreciatively. “Twenty years back some damn fool El’the got drunk and tried to lift a manure cart onto the roof of the Masters’ Hall on a bet. Tore his own arm off at the shoulder.”
Manet bent back over his piece of tin, engraving a careful rune. “Takes a special kind of stupid to do something like that.”

Okay so. First of off, let's agree that Kvothe is definitely going to tear off his arm or hand in book three :D but aside from the lesson and examples, notice how Manet is engraving tin while he talks? Well that's actually why Kvothe needed to fix the iceless

I crouched down and rested my fingers on the tin bands. The right-hand one was warm, meaning the half on the inside would be correspondingly cool. But the one on the left was room temperature. I craned my neck to get a look at the sygaldry and spotted a deep scratch in the tin, scoring through two of the runes.
That explained it. A piece of sygaldry is like a sentence in a lot of ways. If you remove a couple words, it simply doesn’t make any sense. I should say it usually doesn’t make sense. Sometimes a damaged piece of sygaldry can do something truly unpleasant. I frowned down at the band of tin. This was sloppy artificing. The runes should have been on the inside of the band where they couldn’t be damaged.

The heat siphon broke because the sygaldry was damaged. I know what you're thinking. This is the simple part?! But you got this, trust me. Next part we need to cover is the volatile transporting agent: Regim Ignaul Neratum.

“Bone-tar?”
Kilvin donned a thick leather glove and decanted about an ounce of dark liquid from the metal canister into a glass vial. “It is important to chill the vial prior to decanting, as the agent boils at room temperature.”
“The pressure cap is also essential, as the liquid is extremely volatile. As a gas it exhibits surface tension and viscosity, like mercury. It is heavier than air and does not dissipate. It coheres to itself.”
Transport reactions are classified according to the thermodynamics of the reaction between the solid and the transporting agent. When the reaction is exothermic, then the solid of interest is transported from the cooler end

Okay now remember the Chandrian stepping into the black boiling fog of Haliax?

Then, each of the others turned with a studied ease and took a step toward Haliax, into the shadow surrounding him. But as their feet came down they slowed, and gently, as if they were made of sand with wind blowing across them, they faded away.

The Chandrian, the solids, stepped into the transporting agent. They became like sand as soon as they touched the fog, then they were gone. That's what was in the archways of the Waystone doors.

Then Ben was no longer there, and there was not one standing stone, but many. More than I had ever seen in one place before. They formed a double circle around me. One stone was set across the top of two others, forming a huge arch with thick shadow underneath. I reached out to touch it....

The Doors of Death, Doors of Stone. They all led to the Fae, connected all of the cities to each other. But remember what happens to bone-tar at room temperature?

“In addition to being highly corrosive,” Kilvin said, “in its gaseous state the reagent is flammable. Once it warms sufficienctly, it will burn on contact with air. The heat that this produces can cause a cascading exothermic reaction.”
“Cascading huge Goddamn fire,” Manet said.

So let's say you are angry. Let's say you are seriously pissed off, and you're looking for a little payback against a King. You decide you're going to topple this fool's entire fkn empire in one fell swoop. You "scratch the tin" that the sygaldry is on. You break the heat siphon that was keeping all of these Waystone portal doors chilled.
Boom. The cities, connected by these bone-tar portal doors, burst into flame as the bone-tar hits room temperature. Cascading huge goddamn fire. Because fk that guy, that's why.
But let's go back further. The world was created, then the Fae, then the moon stolen and the creation war began. So how does the moon fit in? Why steal it? Well because you've built yourself a perpetual motion machine. You've got all the pieces together, you've connected it all, but it needs ignition. You need to turn this puppy on somehow.
Let's cover the pieces first. Easiest to explain is the Fae itself. The Fae is like the firmament from the early hebrew conception of the cosmos. That's why we're given all these clues about Tehlu's hammer and His Path, the blacksmith crossing over first, forger of the Path. That's why it's called the firmament

Rāqīaʿ means that which is firmly hammered, stamped (a word of the same root in Phoenecian means "tin dish"!). The meaning of the verb rqʿ concerns the hammering of the vault of heaven into firmness

That's how the shapers created someplace new for themselves, to do as they willed. They created a road not for travelling, a barrier between worlds they could go through.
Then there were two worlds, two skies, but one moon all round and cozy. Look again to the firmament picture. Now remember that in the Fae, there are only two directions. There's no north, south, east and west. You walk towards night, or dayward. That's it. Then there's the descriptions of appearing as if underwater

For example, I remember Felurian in the purpling twilight. It dappled her through the trees, making her look as if she were underwater.

Dappled shade, feeling as if underwater when a Namer looks into your eyes. So now our world has an outer shell, a second world, an insulated tube filled with water. But again, there's no north, south, east, west. Only Night and Day. A two dimensional plane, a massive halo around the world.
Then someone has an idea. They're going to build an engine, an ever-lasting flame. Not just any engine, they're going to turn the world into a rotary engine using seven cities in a radial configuration.

The radial engine is a reciprocating type internal combustion engine configuration in which the cylinders "radiate" outward from a central crankcase like the spokes of a wheel.

But you need the pistons to fire. Do you remember how the arrowcatch works?

I gestured to a different diagram. “What I really needed was something that could push back against the arrow. And it had to push very fast and very hard. I ended up using the spring steel from a bear trap. Modified, of course.”
“First, the arrow comes close and establishes the binding. Second, the incoming arrow’s momentum sets off the trigger, just like stepping on a trap.” I snapped my fingers sharply. “Then the spring’s stored energy pushes back at the arrow, stopping it or even knocking it backward.”
“Both of my shots came from the same direction,” he said. “How was the second one stopped if that spring had already been triggered?”
“It hangs on a pivot ring,” I said.

The arrowcatch and our radial engine work the same. It looks like this. The only difference is that the arrowcatch uses bear trap springs that store the energy, then need to be manually reset.
But we think we're clever, as fools usually do. If we used the moon to fire the pistons, we wouldn't have to reset any springs. So clever. So thoughtless. So reckless.
Here's the thing about rotary engines.

Power increase also came with mass and size increases, multiplying gyroscopic precession from the rotating mass of the engine.

Uh-oh. So remember our massive halo ring around the world? Now it's looking something like this, gyroscopic precession.
Yeah that's not good, is it? Now we have to deal with the 'slippage' we talked about earlier because now our oh-so-clever engine has drawn this onto the world. It's called Coriolis force.
Looks familiar right? It should. That's the Great Stone Road.
That's all I've got so far. I'm not a scientist, and this goes into territory that I don't understand and don't know how to explain. I know the mentions of silver and mercury are references to Cox's Timepiece.

Cox claimed that his design was a true perpetual motion machine, but as the device is powered from changes in atmospheric pressure via a mercury barometer, this is not the case.

So Cinder's chill, and the heat coming off of Felurian and Denna are connected somehow. I'm sure that the Coriolis force portion also ties into meteorology, because it's the Name of the Wind and in meteorology

[Coriolis effect] is responsible for the rotation and thus formation of cyclones

The other part I can't pin down is the sumner, the Tehlin judge who comes to arrest Kvothe.

The man holding the parchment eyed Simmon calmly, then reached inside his cloak and brought out a stout iron rod with a band of gold around each end. Sim paled a bit as the grim man held it up for everyone in the room to see. Not only was it every bit as threatening as the constable’s cudgels, the rod was an unmistakable symbol of his authority. The man was a sumner for the Commonwealth courts.

Iron rod with gold band around each end sounds like a heat exchanger. Another reason I know it's connected to the Fae is because of the origin of the name Sumner

Thomas Hubbard Sumner (20 March 1807 – 9 March 1876) was a sea captain during the 19th century. He is best known for developing the celestial navigation method known as the Sumner line

It has something to do with the secret place where three roofs meet. Also,

The crater Sumner, and the nearby crater chain Catena Sumner, on the far side of the Moon, are named after him

Which connects to the Chain Dian, moon chains. Also I'm pretty sure that Haliax is meant to represent Maxwell's Demon.
One last note. The reason that even this version of a perpetual motion machine is impossible is because

I had an issue with a landlord. The landlord had their brother call me. He pretended to be an independent insurance agent calling about the property and an issue between myself and my landlord and started asking questions. He stalled and fumbled, but eventually he admitted he was actually a car insurance agent, and that he was the landlord's brother.

I have been reading up a lot on AT styles since my ex broke up with me. Everything I've been reading has made me understand more and realise a lot. I say unsure if she is an FA or DA or neither but signs do point to being Avoidant. Due to conversations and how things ended up. I don't hate her or anything like that. I miss her and love her.

My husband and I have been ttc for a year with no luck (mostly at ntnp right now, sex is pretty much at a standstill except around ovulation time. I am actively avoiding my ovulation date after last night.) We have been going through a really rough patch the past six months as well. My husband has undiagnosed and untreated anxiety that is wreaking havoc on our relationship. I also think he has a terminal case of being a giant asshole.
In August, I was telling him about how I was jealous my friend got pregnant before me, and how it must be nice to not work and have their inlaws supporting them. I also made a comment that we had to work hard, and I was basically just blowing off stupid jealous steam. He took that as me insulting his family for not being able to support us, and as a dig at him. Even after I explained that absolutely was not what I said, he was angry at me for what he imagined I said for days.
He threatened to divorce me in December after ignoring me for three days. He was feeling unfulfilled in our relationship and very depressed, and was withdrawing, on his phone all the time, and putting zero effort in. He was also sleeping outside of our bedroom. I confronted him about it (nicely) and it turned into a multi-day freeze out. He told me he was done with the relationship over text the week before Christmas. We worked through it, and bam, January, same thing. Freeze out and threats to move out.
I've been in therapy, and my therapist has been helpful in helping me identify ways that my own anxiety isn't helping. And I've noticed communication has gotten better between us from using the skills she's taught me. But he absolutely refuses to go to therapy or the doctor, refuses to change, and refuses to try to improve our situation.
Last night I had two large glasses of wine and was ruminating about never having a positive pregnancy test while cooking dinner and cleaning the house. He came home from work and was chipper and talking with me before sitting on the couch. We were chatting, and then I shared with him I was feeling sad that night because of our TTC journey. He blew up at me last night. About how he is "stressed" and how I should have known he wanted to eat his dinner in peace. And it turned into this ugly fight where he was bitching about how "stressed" he is and how he was done.
He doesn't recognize I'm working two full time jobs; my day job, and managing our household, bills, and chores. Or how I sit there and let him vent at me when he gets home from work, because I can tell he needs an outlet for whatever he's feeling. How I do things for him all the time to make life easier for him. He uses "stressed" as an excuse for why he acts the way he does, and never makes any kind of change. He has outright refused therapy, and when pressed, said he wouldn't go because he's "not fucking crazy" (though he doesn't think I'm crazy for going...).
We've only been married a year and a half, and I feel like I made a grave mistake.

I've got this thing in my house, just inside the door. It slides up and down but I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is or why it's there. Anyone here know?

So first off. That title may be misleading but it sums it up pretty well. No I did not fuse a human soul with that of an animals it’s a bit more elaborate.
A few years ago, my friends got me into DND. Our first campaign was pretty much homebrew based on what our DM thought would be a good start for me. We didn’t follow the rules to the letter, we used them as guidelines more or less. Our party consisted of an elven rouge, an orc barbarian, human paladin, a dark elf mage, and for some I reason chose druid/cleric I guess the connection to nature and plant life intrigued me.
Anyways after a few sessions and leveling up once or twice, I am able to pick a few spells to learn. The two I chose were summon chimera and awaken. Another key piece of information, we treated awaken as a gain sentience spell, in case any of our party members were put under hypnosis / mind control (we were about to enter a seedy bar known to have psychics) and the catch behind chimera was I could only summon one if I had observed it in nature. You can kinda see where this was going.
Thankfully we survived the psychics. And I get the idea to test my chimera spell. I had already observed an owl and a snake, so I started with these smaller creatures.
I crit failed.
However our DM took pity on me, and told me I still managed to summon some monstrosity. However I had mixed in some human as well. The Frankenstein creature I brought into this world was described as follows:
“For the most part, it has the body of an owl. But the snake part starts at the neck, and it’s as thick as the rest of its body and 3 times as long. Midway up there is a deformed human arm sticking out of the “neck” and on top a large scale head almost like a dragons. It is an insult to your god and you feel it to your very core. You have fucked up” I named him 5head on account his head was 5x larger than it’s body.
What was really fucked up was the fact that he survived our next 3 dungeons. I was smart enough to keep it out of combat and used 5head more as a sideshow attraction. (Passive income for the tavern our rouge owned). We were doing well at this and the party started to accept 5head as a true companion. Then we got to the coastal city.
The coastal city was a huge port with both legal and illegal goods coming in and out constantly. Our rouge thought it would be good to set up shop there. Unfortunately the people of this town, which was named shorefall, had seen much more interesting things than a chimera with birth defects. We needed to up our game. So I made a decision.
“Dm I’d like to cast awaken on 5head” “But that won’t do anything” “It says in the guide that awaken raises intelligence by 10 points” “Roll for it” “Nat 20” Our dm is dumbfounded. This character is already ridiculous, and now it has more intelligence than our orc.
“5head has now become self aware. It understands what it is and the life of suffering it has lived thus far. Also as a Druid, you are able to understand him perfectly.”
Then I hear a scream

The rest of the part bursts out laughing as I have just created my own version of eraserheads baby. I’m left sitting in horror as another voice pops into my head”

I had just been excommunicated from my religion. Now that I have reached my lowest point, I thought the only way to go was up. I took it in stride and decided to found my own faith; I worshipped Clarence from the big lez show as a peaceful, friend of mankind. A person shunned by society but also optimistic and caring.
In the end, 5head survived all the way to our demise. We had good fun, turned invisible and stole some mushrooms from a smuggler, tripped for a while. But due to my now lacking herbology skills, that was our one and only trip. We both died from an overdose and I had to create a new character to continue.

Can I just thank you for bringing this up? It definitely needs to be talked about. I myself was invited to this group, and its given me pause for a few reasons.
If you are willing, may I invite you all to really reflect on these points, and really open up your heart before Jesus and let him speak to you about this.

1. Scientifically, we still don't know what causes dreams, and why the body does it. I can only testify to my own dreams, that some are from God, some seem demonic, and some are....well... just our body. No where in scripture does it say ALL dreams are from God. We are shown examples though, of some dreams that were. Remember, we are, at the moment, and interesting mix of flesh and soul, mortal and unmortal. For instance, we read about Jesus healing the sick AND also delivering people from demons. The bible seems to subtly give us a difference. Sometimes things are just our body, sometimes they are spiritual, sometimes it is a combo of both. Discernment is needed here.
   
2. I feel unsettled in my spirit when I look at some of the posts and comments, and sadly there is not much biblical and spiritual teaching. Yes, people throw up a bible verse here and there when it comes into alignment with their argument, but that is not necessarily how they bible should be used, or just used. We need to become teachers to each other, share information, about the biblical concept of dreams and visions. I want to see some solid Christian biblical teachings on dream interpretation.
   
3. This is one of the most important.
   

We need to be VERY careful that we do not enter divination territory. I may have seen it here, or it could have been another group.....
Divination is condemned in the bible. Divination means to seek out meanings and knowledge spiritually, that is not from God. Now, if I asked you, do you think of your self as a psychic or a fortune teller, im sure you would be offended and answer with a responding "No!"
And I don't know you. I really don't, only you and God can answer that. The thing about divination and why its so tricky is that it is a very, very slippery slope. Whenever we are operating in the spiritual realm we have to CONSTANTLY check with ourselves and God. Are we doing things for our glory, or his? Do I really believe that I have "a special gift", I can interpret, its in built into me? No spiritual power or knowledge comes from us. None at all. We are powerless. Unless we invite the Holy Spirit to move through us, and through that, God is gracious to use us as his instruments for his glory alone. Now, yes, the bible does talk about spiritual gifts. It could be interpreted though as meaning, 'an interest and skill in an area of ministry, that when allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through us, we can be a great influence and comfort to his church'.
When im talking about the tricky slippery slope of divination, im meaning,
• Numbers. God uses numbers in the bible, and they can have spiritual meaning. We all know 7, 12, 144, 6 and so on. But do you think that numbers are "lucky/blessed" or "unlucky/evil"? If you were getting on a train, and it had the number 666 on it, does that strike fear into you? Do you a licence plate that has 12 or 7 on it, because its "blessed by God/lucky/will bring me protection"? Luck is a similar concept of karma. It is not a Godly concept. We should be very careful to point at everyday random numbers and claim, "its from God". Yes, God can use numbers. No, he does not most of the time. Getting into the spiritual aspects of numbers leads to numerology. Numerology is magick, new age, and witchcraft. Be careful when looking at numbers in your dreams. Is it really God?
• That can also lead into superstitious thinking, which is the same. "Unlucky" means that "the universe or energy" has a deep consciousness and follows rules, bringing good to some and bad to others. These "rules" are not scriptural, black cats, knock on wood, etc. And (how convenient!) The bad luck or bad energy or vibe can be rectified with more luck or rituals! (satan is clever, he causes problems but then convinces us in a "fix" - one that is not of God, of course!) Burning sage to cleanse our minds of bad dreams, having crystals around to give us good dreams, etc. Even in Christian circles this is happening. New Age has taken off hugely through TicTok, my niece said it was "popular".
• Aspects such as a general blanket of interpretation (water = always means this), need to be done very carefully. So someone dreams of water. How human of us to think that God uses the same things for everyone to get his point across. Maybe for you, God gave you a dream where water was a warning. Maybe for someone else, God can use that symbol as a meaning for something else.
• Do you interpret someone else's dream through your own knowledge. For example I see a lot of: "7 means godly, and water means new life, so Gods calling you to a Godly new birth, new life in him". You have no idea, really. Is this 'spiritual knowledge' you have 'learnt and acquired'? Divination. Have you cried out to God on behalf of this person, read your bible, spoken to God, and sat and waited and listened to the Holy Spirit? When you hear a spiritual do you test it? Is it God? The bible says to test the spirits, demons lie and can very very easily trick us. Im sure all Christians have been tricked by demons at some stage, posing as 'someone on our side'. The bible also says that as Jesus being the Shepherd "my sheep know my voice". Do you regularly spend time talking and listening to God, so much so that you are intimate and familiar and recognise his voice? If not, be very careful. Not only are you harming yourself, you are harming the person that is asking for an interpretation.

1. If you think that God has given you the desire to interpret dreams for his glory and edification on the church, that is wonderful and may i encourage you to pray about it and learn about it, before you do it. Become a pro at it, and be completely intertwined with God, so you know that you are definitely doing his will. Just as the bible talks about the gift of tounges and interpretation of tounges, its serious business. Read and study the men in the bible that interpreted dreams. Ask God to show you how he wants you to use this, ask for his holy spirit to guide you, ask God exactly how it can be used in the church.
   
2. I myself have had spiritual dreams. In a way, there was no need for anyone to interpret the ones i had. I prayed about it, asked God to help me with it, and he did. Should we be encouraging people to ask us for dream interpretation, before asking God himself? Should we be teaching each other how to bring these things before God? Whenever someone in the bible interpreted, it was for a dream that came from a non believer who did not know to go to the one true God in the first place.
   
3. Lastly, I want to just remind people to guard their spirit. Everyone on here seems lovely. But you really don't know. Be very careful in asking someone you don't know to pray over you, interpret for you, etc. I don't want to offend anyone, but there are wolves in sheep's clothing sometimes. I know that witches and new agers, and others, have in the past and still can pose as a Christian and pray something over you that is not of God. Now, of course God is more powerful. If that ever happens all we need to do because of God graciousness, is to repent and cut off those demonic things. But save yourself the hassle, and be cautious anyway, just really mindful and look at the history of the person offering assistance. Don't open yourself up to that. Also be mindful, that there may even be people that genuinely think they are hearing from God and really want help, not realising that they themselves are currently being deceived, and listening to spirits that in their ignorance think are God, but are not. The bible warns us to be very careful in seeking out spiritual knowledge. Don't bring sin onto yourself accidentally, by letting in someone that whether they know it of not, may be demonically influenced. Guard your spirit like its the most precious thing.
   

Sadly, Christian magic is rife in the church. New age, magic, spells, incantations, rituals and superstitions are constantly creeping in to Gods church. Its insidious.

So I left Islam when I was 17, and while I have had my battles with Islam and other religions. I feel incredibly lonely and find it hard to completely disconnect.
My whole family is Muslim, and I even dated a Muslim guy. I know we loved each other but recently things went sour. Yes I was stupid to even date a Muslim guy but I thought I could allow us to practice our beliefs. He knew I was not a Muslim anymore and didn’t question it too much and told me that it’s my choice. I believe he truly meant that. I just felt like he understood my family issues and upbringing whereas a white person or non Muslim wouldn’t understand.
I knew from the beginning what dating a Muslim could mean but after months of seeing each other we fell for each other. I just feel lost now. As an adult I am taking responsibility for that.
It really pisses me off because maybe one day I will want to get married and stuff but how will I go about that? How will my family react if I go with a non Muslim and raise my family as non Muslims.
I think the best thing for me is to stay in the closet, keep my thoughts about Islam to myself. And just appear to be non practicing.
Do you think it’s possible for a Muslim to be with a non Muslim? Just respect each other’s opinions.
I do not hate Muslims, I guess I always have this guilt and sadness during Ramadan. That’s probably why it’s so hard for Muslims to actually leave, you leave your commmunity, loved ones. I hate that Islam causes such a divide, if I fall for someone because of their heart I have to leave that person because of a fucking book.
I guess I am just heartbroken about this guy, sad about my future in a Muslim family.
