2023.03.24 13:42 SuperKoshej613 It's not over until the end, and I really mean it literally.
Guys, relax already.
While Liko clearly isn't Ash's daughter - she still MAY be connected to him in one of these ways:
- Rival or colleague. If they are of similar age, they may interact "in school" or "on journey".
- Teacher. I'd quite like to see Prof. Ketchum mentor Liko.
- Final boss. New promising champion meets old unbeatable champion and challenges his title.
- Ancestor. Yes, because Scarlet/Violet does involve time travel shenanigans in the game, lol.
How these options relate to Amourshipping?
- Serena appears as a side character. Or maybe Liko gets involved in "girly stuff".
- Did I specify the gender of Prof. Ketchum, lol? Or she could at least be his wife, ya know.
- Same as points 1 and 2.
- Literally the reason why Liko looks a lot like Serena, loool.
It's not over until the end - and then some more.

2023.03.24 13:32 Nitro_2021 [REQUEST] [STEAM] Resident Evil 4 Remake
My name is Jhuan and I live in Brazil. I am a longtime member of this sub, but haven't being asking for games here for a looong time. Today is the release day of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and sadly I can't buy it, for two motives I will list below. Also, I will write a little about how Resident Evil is so important to me ;)
• Why I want RE4 Remake, and why I love Resident Evil so much?
Everything started in 2006, when I was introduced to gaming by my father. I liked watching him playing his PS1 and PS2 games. The first game I watched him play was Resident Evil 2 on PS1, and I consider that one my first game ever. Being a kid, I could finish all games by myself, but my father helped me a lot. Together, we played RE1 and RE2 on PS1, and in 2007 we got a Xbox 360 with RE4 and RE5.
Resident Evil was part of my childhood, and it is till today my favorite game series ever. I played all games from RE0 to RE8 Village (original and remade original trilogy), plus Revelations 1 and 2, Operation Raccoon City, Code Veronica, Dead Aim and Outbreak File #1 and File #2, even Resistance and ReVerse lol. Also, I watched all CGI movies, from Degeneration to Infinite Darkness (watched Milla's movies when I was younger, but didn't like it so much). Resident Evil is the only big franchise (in terms of numerous titles) that I have played almost all games, and I just love all of them.
I have recently played for the first time RE Code Veronica, because of all the hype for a possible Remake. And I just loved it. The characters, gameplay, story and specially the music. Code Veronica has the best OST ever. I really liked enemies and bosses designs too. I recommend it for everyone who hasn't played it yet, and like old RE games and it's used to tank controls.
I have got all achievements for RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake and RE4 on Steam, also, for RE5, Revelations 1 and 2 on Xbox 360, and I am on my way to get all of them for Steam rn (I'm working in RE5 and 6 now).
Well, I just love those games, I love the lore of each one of them. Gaming means Resident Evil for me, since it was my first game series, and my most played series ever.
Resident Evil was very important to me because I met my best friend in RE6. After years of playing RE4, 5 and 6 on Xbox 360, when I got those games on Steam, I found a Steam Group server with a lot of people trying to find players for matchmaking. That's when I first met my friend. Since then, we played tons of hours of RE5, RE6, Revelations 1 and 2 Raid mode and even Resistance and ReVerse. We also played other games, like CSGO, Borderlands 2 and Minecraft. But we always come back to Resident Evil. We love to discuss about RE lore, and when a new trailer drops, we talk about it for hours lol.
Shortening, I play Resident Evil since I was a kid, being introduced to it by my father. I have played almost all games and watched all movies (and memorized all the lines lol). I have met my best friend because of Resident Evil and I play a lot of RE5 and 6 till today with him.
• Why I can't buy it?
Well, RE4 Remake was cheaper than what it is now, in my country. When it was on pre-order, it was BRL200, now it is BRL250. I am on the college now, having to buying a lot of books and instruments for my course, and I am really short on money. I have being able to buy and play almost all Resident Evil games at release, untill RE2 Remake, when I got short on money, and then started to have to wait months to get into the game. The worse thing are spoiler, yeah, I know I played the original game, but I want to re-experience it all over again, as it was a new game. If I could get RE4 gifted to me, it would be an amazing help for my studies, since I could use all money I have right to buy the needed books, and wouldn't have to wait like one year to buy the game.
Shortening, I can't buy it for two motives: 1 - Don't have money to buy my books AND the game rn / 2- The price change made it even harder for me to buy it.
Here is my Steam ID https://steamcommunity.com/id/LowNitro/
Resident Evil 4 Steam Store Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2050650/Resident_Evil_4/
Go check my games and add me if you wish to play something, I am always at your disposal.
I don't like to ask for expensive games, specially at release, but I am dying inside, I just want to play it!!!
English isn't my first language, so maybe I have committed one or two crimes against correct grammar lol. But I think you can understand me just as fine.
I think that's it. I love RE and I wish I could play RE4 Remake right now, but I have other priorities so it would mean a lot for me. Thank you for reading, wish you a good day :)

2023.03.24 13:31 StepwiseUndrape574 Rockstar Remastering GTA 5 For Xbox And PS5 In Glorious 4K60 With Ray Tracing
Did you imagine when Grand Theft Auto V came out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013, that we'd be seeing a fresh retail re-release of it nine years later? Much like The Elder Scrolls Part V: Skyrim—which hails from the same era—GTA V has been an enduring success and is about to get its third re-release.
There's no fancy subtitle or name change; Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series XS consoles on March 15th. That's not to say it's exactly the same experience, though. The versions for the current-gen consoles support 60 FPS, HDR output, ray-tracing, "improved texture quality," faster loading times, "immersive 3D audio," and support for platform-specific features, like the PS5's DualSense haptics.
gtaonline carwash Specifically, there will be a fidelity mode that targets native 3840×2160 resolution with ray tracing and a 30 FPS cap. (Xbox Series S will use upscaling to hit 4K.) Before you sneer at that, note that console versions of GTA V have always had a 30 FPS cap—until now: the new release's "performance mode" will target 60 FPS with dynamic resolution scaling up to 4K, but without ray tracing.
Most interesting to the majority of gamers will probably be the "Performance RT" mode. This mode, available only on the PS5 and Series X, is basically just performance mode with ray tracing enabled. Most likely, it will simply use a lower dynamic resolution to achieve higher-than-30 FPS while keeping ray tracing features. Depending on the upscaling method Rockstar uses, this mode could still look quite good.
Of course, the whole reason that Grand Theft Auto V is still the sensation that it is lies in its online mode. Rockstar has always talked about Grand Theft Auto Online as if it were an entirely separate game, and that's understandable given the differences in their content. But after the re-release launches, it will in fact be available as an entirely separate game—and it'll be free for the first three months after launch on PS5.
gtaonline fukaru The technical changes to Grand Theft Auto V largely apply here, although there's probably still not going to be any animals in Online. Instead, Rockstar is implementing several content updates for the re-launch. The Los Santos Car Meet expansion is getting an expansion of its own called Hao's Special Works, and a "Career Builder" feature will be available for fresh characters to help them get a foothold in Los Santos' seedy underbelly.
If you're already an accomplished crime boss in GTA V or GTA Online using an older console version, you can transfer your progress to the new systems. For story mode, open the game and go to "Game" in the pause menu, then select "Upload Save Game" to send it to the Rockstar Social Club cloud servers. GTA Online progress will transfer automatically, although Rockstar cautions players that purchased GTA$ won't transfer across platforms (i.e. PlayStation to Xbox, or vice versa.)
You'll be able to start playing the remastered version of GTA V on March 15, with physical copies coming available In April. We asked Rockstar when these changes would be coming to the PC version, but haven't heard back yet. We'll update this story when we do.

❖ MOBOX cross-chain deployment ❖ New NFT series — Dragon ❖ MOBOX World ❖ MOMOverse ❖ MOBOX Avatar 2.0 ❖ MOBOX game release plan ❖ MOBOX world ❖ MBOX Token economic model 2.0 ❖ MOBOX Fusion Hub ❖ MOMO Mart ❖ Roadmap ❖ Summary
MOBOX Platform Cross-Chain Deployment
As part of the MOBOX multi-universe plan, the MOBOX platform has officially launched its multi-chain collaborative development strategy in its third year. It is no longer limited to single-chain development on the Binance Smart Chain. To achieve this goal, the MOBOX team is building cross-chain protocols for multiple mainstream public chains, to achieve collaborative operability of NFTs on different public chains, capture and endow more value to MBOX, and enhance MBOX ecosystem compatibility.
This cross-chain collaboration introduces MBOX into the Ethereum ecosystem for the first time, bringing new NFT series to Arbitrum. By integrating with Arbitrum, MOBOX can interact with a large number of Ethereum users and projects. MOBOX users can use their assets and NFTs on Arbitrum and interact with other projects in the Ethereum ecosystem. Similarly, Ethereum projects and users can also use their assets and NFTs on the “MOBOX platform”, “MOBOX games”, and “MOBOX services”.
Through cross-chain functionality and NFT interoperability, MOBOX plans to achieve cross-chain interoperability of all platform products and games. This will allow the use of NFTs from other blockchains on the MOBOX platform and MOMOverse, bringing more choices to users and creating opportunities to attract a more diverse user base and resource channels. It also establishes universal collaborative operability between blockchains and applications.
The first cross-chain gateway of the MOBOX platform will be established on Ethereum and its Layer 2 network, Arbitrum. This not only brings MBOX into the Ethereum ecosystem but also brings new NFT series to Arbitrum. Through cross-chain Arbitrum, MOBOX can interact with a large number of users and projects on Ethereum, achieving more collaborative operability. MOBOX users can use MOBOX assets and NFTs on Arbitrum and interact with projects in the Ethereum ecosystem. Meanwhile, projects and users on Ethereum can also use their assets and NFTs on the MOBOX platform, MOBOX games, and MOBOX services.
Cross-chain to Arbitrum is an important step for MOBOX to expand its ecosystem and realize its vision of creating an interconnected multi-universe. The MOBOX team will continue to collaborate with other mainstream blockchains to develop cross-chain protocols and provide users with broader interoperability and usage choices.
Cross-chain to Arbitrum will bring opportunities and convenience to more users and projects, helping the development of the entire blockchain ecosystem. Through the collaborative operability of MOMO NFT and other public chain NFTs, we will jointly promote the development and innovation of the metaverse.
Enchanting MODragon NFTs: A Magical World Awaits
The MOBOX team is thrilled to unveil the imminent arrival of an enthralling new NFT series, the mesmerizing MODragon, set to grace the Ethereum Layer 2 public chain, Arbitrum. This bewitching NFT collection merges cutting-edge AI image generation sorcery, beckoning players into a realm of diverse gameplay and captivating interactive experiences within the MOBOX ecosystem.
This is the MOBOX art team’s first NFT creation that combines cutting-edge AI image generation technology. AI has great untapped potential in the creative field, and the MOBOX team plans to utilize this technology in production while ensuring compliance and not violating basic ethical standards. Additionally, the team plans to work with players to create content and participate in and promote the AI technology revolution in future community activities.
As the first phase of the MODragon NFT release unfolds, the MOBOX platform will bestow the gift of Genesis Dragon Eggs upon MOBOX players and devoted users of Arbitrum. These mystical eggs will soon hatch, unveiling the alluring MODragon NFTs that lie within. Keep a watchful eye on MOBOX’s social media and community for announcements detailing the enchanting airdrop rules.
The enthralling MODragon NFT series encompasses six elemental realms: fire, water, wood, earth, light, and darkness. MODragons that emerge from the Genesis Dragon Eggs will be blessed with one of these elemental affinities at random. As players venture deeper into this magical world, they may discover unique dual-element dragons and even the elusive four-element dragons in subsequent hatchings. Engaging gameplay, including hatching, battling, fusing, and nurturing multi-element dragons, will be unveiled in due course, showcasing the unparalleled interoperability of NFTs and adding an extra layer of enchantment to the game.
This captivating NFT series promises to become an integral aspect of the MOBOX platform, bestowing endless joy and opportunities upon our cherished community. We warmly invite all MOBOX community members to delve into the wondrous and enigmatic realm of dragons and embark on a magical adventure like no other!
As the project steadily develops, there will be more cross-chain interactive gameplay in the future, including interaction with the BNB chain and MOMO players on the BNB chain.
Stay tuned to MOBOX’s official channels for more spellbinding updates on the MODragon NFTs. Thank you for your unwavering support!
Welcome to the MOBOX World: A Dreamlike World of Infinite Possibilities
With the successful implementation of the MOBOX cross-chain protocol, our team now envisions a captivating MOBOX metaverse world inspired by the mesmerizing MOMOverse. As trailblazers in the WEB 3 domain, we began designing an innovative game four years ago that would revolutionize the blockchain gaming industry. This game empowers players with complete ownership of in-game assets, enabling them to craft and inhabit their very own fantastical multi-dimensional universes.
Our unwavering dedication is to create an immersive and rewarding experience for every player in an open, decentralized environment, encouraging each participant to contribute to community building as a member of a collective working towards a shared vision — an open multi-dimensional universe. As eternal game creators, we’ve identified a disconnect between participants and new social contracts within the existing gaming ecosystem. The MOBOX Universe brings players, designers, engineers, and creators together under a harmonious system of shared responsibilities and incentives.
Throughout the game development process, we’ve recognized the need for a more equitable operating model that breaks down the historical barriers between builders and participants, empowering everyone to create, nurture, enhance, and benefit from the fruits of our collective labor. We also strive to protect these efforts from the influence of intermediaries seeking access to distribution channels.
A fair and thriving community lies at the heart of our game’s future, and every step forward reveals the potential of this enchanting world. We are steadfast in our belief that this is the key to crafting a sustainable game, rich in content and deeply engaging for players.
In this new realm, we’re dedicated to building a truly digital universe that transcends gaming platforms, incorporating a wide array of services, applications, and tools for users to explore, play, and interact. Our grand vision includes allocating a unique continent to each mainstream public chain, home to their native populations. These continents will symbolize their respective public chains, fostering a distinctive digital ecosystem that facilitates communication between users across different public chains.
The MOMOverse, a colossal floating island situated at the center of this world, will feature diverse terrains such as land, floating islands, oceans, and enigmatic creatures. Players can claim a piece of land, build their dream homes, and engage with fellow inhabitants. They’ll have the chance to construct airships, journey to uncharted continents, engage in epic battles with hostile fleets, or trade with merchant fleets voyaging the world.
The MOBOX team is devoted to integrating all products, services, and games on the MOBOX platform into this digital universe. This boundless world teeming with possibilities will allow users to create digital assets, construct homes and cities, develop games and applications, and interact with others. We believe this digital world will not only offer users an entertaining and creative space but also become a genuine social platform that fosters open communication and collaboration between various public chain ecosystems.
Our dream is to cultivate a truly open and equal community in this digital realm, where everyone has the opportunity to participate and create their digital value. Regardless of your public chain affiliation, you’ll discover a sense of belonging and connection here. The MOBOX team will continue to work tirelessly to advance the development and enhancement of this digital world, delivering the ultimate experience and services to our users.
Embracing MOMOverse: A World of Adventure Awaits
We are thrilled to announce the seamless integration of MOMOverse’s home into the MOBOX Universe. This fusion will provide players with a grander worldview, inviting every MOMOverse resident to delve into a more diverse and vivid world.
Upon the integration of MOMOverse’s home, players can establish their domains, rise to prominence as influential lords, and vie for minerals, resources, and land for their forces. Our team has devised numerous innovative tools and gameplay features, alongside richer background stories and engaging quests.
These elements will allow players to create and explore more freely within the game. Players can enhance their economic power by establishing guilds and constructing buildings, as well as acquiring more treasures and resources by venturing into uncharted territories on the map.
We are confident that this integration process will inject more excitement and challenges into the MOBOX Universe and MOMOverse. We eagerly anticipate unveiling more surprises for our community and players in future updates. Together, let’s expand this boundless world of endless possibilities.
Introducing MOBOX Avatar 2.0
MOBOX Avatars are the magical embodiments of your virtual self within the wondrous realm of the MOMOverse. As unique manifestations of your digital essence, they bridge the gap between our world and the extraordinary MOBOX digital dimension, where your Avatar will captivate and inspire fellow adventurers.
In the mesmerizing metaverse, an Avatar serves as the cornerstone of all enchanting experiences, and our dedicated team cherishes this responsibility. The initial MOBOX Avatar 1.0 incarnation faced a number of challenges, such as lackluster color perception, limited facial features, subpar model accuracy, and insufficient image differentiation. With MOBOX Avatar 2.0, we’ve conjured a realm of dazzling improvements, including more vibrant colors and striking contrasts, intricate facial features and expressions, smoother contours, and a fully-realized three-dimensional model, ensuring each character stands out from the crowd.
Best of all, players possessing a MOBOX Avatar will be gifted a brand new Avatar 2.0 airdrop, enveloping you in the magic of our enhanced creation. The MOBOX Avatar 2.0 project is nearing its final stages of enchantment and is slated to debut alongside the world map version, inviting you to embrace your dazzling new digital identity within the MOMOverse.
Prepare to be spellbound as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of the “new” you in the ethereal world of the MOMOverse.

3. New Application Scenarios
- The daily output of MBOX in the MBOX-BNB LP mining pool has been adjusted. (As Shown Above)
- The daily output of MBOX collected by MOMO has been adjusted from 50,000 MBOX to 40,000 MBOX.
- The output of MBOX produced by the D.S.C trade and the prosperity of the MOMOverse home will remain unchanged.
- Although the output of MBOX produced by MOMO NFT has been adjusted, the basic consensus that MOMO is the core output of MBOX has not changed.
- It is expected that the updated MBOX output will meet the expectations of the third-year plan in the MOBOX white paper.
4. Explanation of MOBOX Team and Strategic Investment Shares
- Cross-chain staking
- New liquidity staking
- Use and consumption in the MOBOX world
- Used in the new Dragon NFT series gameplay
- Used in the new MOBOX games “Dragon Battlefield” and “End of the World Storm”
In the current market environment, many companies face operational difficulties and pressures. In contrast, the MOBOX team has significant differences from other projects. First, in addition to receiving strategic investments from Binance Labs, the team has a stable source of income, including platform profitability, cooperation, and investment returns. These revenues are sufficient to support the team’s development and expansion plans for at least five years, so there is no need to sell any MBOX tokens to survive. Second, in order to achieve MOBOX’s grand vision, we will continue to attract outstanding talents in the industry and negotiate with top Web3 investment institutions to prepare high-quality resources, sign high-quality AAA-level games, and expand the ecosystem.
We firmly believe that the MOBOX platform has the potential for long-term and sustainable development. With the continuous development of products and market expansion the MOBOX ecosystem will become stronger and more dynamic, creating more value for MBOX holders.
MOBOX Fusion Hub
After completing the integration with multiple mainstream Layer 1 public chains and related Layer 2, MOBOX will launch its final version. We call it the Web 3 Games ultimate solution — MOBOX Fusion hub. Our platform is ready to provide game developers with a series of SDKs and APIs specifically tailored for blockchain games to help them develop and release games based on web 3 technology.
Currently, our Fusion hub platform has launched the first internal test version for game teams and studios related to MOBOX. We expect that games on MOBOX will be upgraded and managed through this platform. The official version of MOBOX Fusion Hub will go live after performance stabilization and large-scale testing.
We believe that blockchain technology and NFTs will play an important role in the future of the gaming industry, and our platform will be one of the pioneers of this trend. Our vision is to become the preferred platform for game developers and contribute to the development of the future gaming industry. At the same time, we will continue to improve and perfect our platform to ensure that we are always at the forefront of the gaming industry. The fusion hub platform will have the following main features: 1. Compatible with Multiple Layer 1 Public Chains
Compared to other GameFi projects, the MOBOX Open Platform can be compatible with multiple Layer 1 public chains, including but not limited to BNB chain and ETH chain. This allows our game developers to choose the underlying public chain that best suits their projects. 2. MOBOX SDK & APIs
The MOBOX game platform provides game developers with a series of easy-to-use development tools to help them quickly build their games and seamlessly integrate them with our platform. Our platform provides the following main functions: Mature smart contract API:
We provide preset smart contract APIs to help game developers quickly write and test game-related smart contracts and use them to process transactions and other game logic. NFT SDK support and integration:
We provide easy-to-use NFT integration SDK to help game developers quickly create their own NFTs and integrate them into the game. Based on blockchain technology, using NFT as the economic currency in the game ensures the fairness and security of the game. In particular, people building NFT dApps will be able to use MOBOX’s built-in NFT market and API services to build a “plug-and-play” market for Web 3 game assets and related NFTs, providing better liquidity. Risk control:
Our platform will use multiple security measures to protect the security of the game and users. We will use multiple security measures including preventing DDoS attacks, cryptographic protection, user identity verification, and asset risk control, to ensure the security and fairness of the game. Developer funding support:
Our platform will provide support funding for game developers through MOBOX METAFund to help them launch and develop their game projects. We believe that supporting developers is the key to realizing our vision. Developer split NFT:
The MOBOX platform not only provides developers with the best revenue distribution model but also provides them with flexible support that is almost instantly credited to their accounts receivable, ensuring that developers have the necessary funds to continue their best development work and help them develop excellent games.
After successfully releasing a game on the MOBOX platform, developers will receive a special non-fungible token (P-NFT indicating) their ownership of the released game. All income generated by the game will be recorded on the blockchain to ensure complete transparency between the platform and developers. The P-NFT smart contract also serves as a revenue sharing agreement between the platform and developers, automatically transferring the income earned by developers according to the agreement to their MOBOX wallet. Ready-to-use MOMO library:
Thanks to the interoperability of MOMO NFTs, they can be used across different public chains and games. Game developers can choose from the high-quality MOMO NFT library and immediately use them in their games, saving a lot of time and money for teams and independent developers, and providing the necessary resources and strong support for their game development work. MOBOX Community Support:
The MOBOX platform provides developers with all possible support, including marketing. Through effective community management, continued platform marketing, and the addition of important ecological partners, the MOBOX platform community provides developers with a powerful marketing channel. This includes fully functional nodes on the MOBOX platform, increasingly active social media, and social media activities through our ecological partners.
By combining the above SDKs and APIs, our platform provides game developers with a better development and publishing experience as well as a wider market and support. 2023.03.24 13:20 Impressive_South2560 [Mobile][2010s] Medieval Fantasy Strategy nostalgicly similar to Battle Legions
Platform(s): Mobile (played in android)
Genre: Medieval, Fantasy, Strategy, 2.5d
Estimated year of release: Probably mid 2010s (I played it in about 2014-2016 and again in like 2020 )
Graphics/art style: Cartoonish in Medieval theme
Notable characters: Each of unit of soldier consist of a Heroish commander and multiple small solder corresponding to what type of unit it is
Notable gameplay mechanics: A unit will be represented by a Heroish figure that have like a platoon of soldier under his/her command each unit uses different weapons for example some use bow n arrows, swords, spears, staff(mages), there are also calvaries you can upgrade the unit/hero by leveling up or put on gears e.g. helmet, armor, sword, bow.
You can deploy them into battle in each level on the map. in the battle your side is on the left enemy on right. Before battle you have to arrange how you will deploy your soldiers for example have the sword unit up front, spear in front of enemy calvary, have your calvary on the side, archer and mage on the back.
In battle units will approach each other and fight (This part is where is mentioned very nostalgicly similar to Battle Legions) you have each unit with the commander and their soldiers clashing each other soldiers walking in calvary charging forward with supporting fire from archers and mages you(player) can also cast spells like summoning skeletons or explosions etc.
This game also have gacha as a method to get units
Each level will be like a trail on a map. The map looks like old yellow paper with drawings in them. Each level the enemy gets stronger or there will be more of them along the trail will be like a level with castle drawing for like boss level.
on the buttom of your screen there will be options like tavern and stuff for you to upgrade your units equipping them doing gacha stuff.
I played it on Asus zenphone something i can't remember the model.
I also remembered the game updated itself in my phone to the ""name" 2" but i couldn't boot the game so that's probably why I deleted it
I remember playing sometime recently like a few years ago but not i can't find it in my play store games library anymore which is the main reason m seeking help thx in advance fellow redditors

2023.03.24 13:16 StepwiseUndrape574 Rockstar's GTA 5 Remaster For Xbox Series X And PS5 Gets A Confirmed Release Date
We now have an official launch date for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 remasters of Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5). Rockstar announced this morning in a blog that the remaster will arrive on November 11th, which is nearly six months away. While GTA 5 runs and still looks good on the newest consoles (if you can get one), there’s still plenty of room for improvement to take advantage of the hardware capabilities of these Ryzen 3000/RDNA 2-fueled gaming beasts. To that end, Take-Two boss Stauss Zelnick explained in early March that making a simple port just isn’t in Rockstar’s DNA when it comes to games.
“We’ve done [remastering] differently than the competition – we don’t just port titles over, we actually take the time to do the very best job we can making the title different for the new release, for the new technology that we’re launching it on,” said Zelnick at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. “So, we improve the technology, we upgrade the visuals, and we make performance enhancements.
Play “I’m confident that Rockstar is going to deliver just a great experience, but you can’t do that if you’re just doing a simple port.”
Rockstar says that in addition to the visual enhancements, the GTA 5 remaster will also have “new features and more” that Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 gamers can enjoy. “Plus, in honor of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto III, we’ll have even more fun surprises to share — including some specifically for GTA Online players,” Rockstar added.
GTA 5 has enjoyed a relatively long period of success and user engagement in the world of video games. The game initially launched in 2013 at the tail end of the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 generation and flourished with the release of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 families.
While the GTA 5 single-player campaign was praised for its gameplay, strong characters, and deeply engaging story, the game has really thrived thanks to its online components: GTA Online. GTA Online has become a cash cow for Take-Two, and Rockstar has understandably introduced continual updates to keep it fresh.

2023.03.24 13:15 Chinobi22 Do you have any tips for a new player ?
Hello everyone here, I'm a newbie player. My character (Boby Jones Jr) is level 14 afeter 10 hours. I learned many things. I didn't check if there was a wiki for this game...After checking I don't see any.
I'd like to get some tips from experienced players. I'm trying to build around companions.
I have "Hacker" (25%dmg against machines and possibility to hack 3 mechs to fight for me) and "Leader" (allies deal +25% and receive -25% dmg) perks.
Perks are "Agility" lvl 5 (more tumbles / dmg increase) / "Cunning" (Crit) / "Rifleman" (Rifle dmg)
Strength 0 / Constitution 3 / Agility 25 / Intel 0 / Wisdom 0 / Charisma 11
Abilities are "Copy" lvl 1 / "Control" lvl 1 (I love this spell) / "Virus" lvl 1 (Never ever used to tbh).
I like Doggy or Nightingale (the medic robot) as companions. They don't use ammo and I was poor.
I bought a 8000 caps POOP (worth 1 gold) to the suspicious dude. But then I opened a box with random caps inside that gave me 70 000 caps. I am now rich. No more longbow, no more Hallberd. I am blocked at the Elite Robot boss, but last time I faced him I had only a Bow and a Crossbow.
Any tips for my build ? I don't really know how I should play it. I think I should not use the medic bot as companion because he doesnt deal damages. I don't know. I kinda want a crit build with meatshields (companions) tanking for me. But every single creature in the game focus me. Is there any perks later that can help? Or I should just build tank and... tank (since enemies pretty much stick to me) ?

2023.03.24 13:13 mimi0108 Female characters' trauma in S2
One of the things I particularly liked about this season is how the writers gave screen time to the trauma of several female characters.
There were a lot of characters and storylines and yet they took the time to tell Genya's story, to show that Alina too is traumatized and in denial, and to make the audience feel the threat Pekka is for Inej in particular and how awful it could be for her to return to the Menagerie.
Genya's storyline completely broke my heart. I felt so many emotions in front of my screen and I'm so glad she got the screen time she deserved to tell her story. Hat off for Daisy for been such a terrific actress in these scenes! Whether it's to show the horror that a woman can suffer at the hands of a powerful man or to prove Kirigan really went too far (by letting her suffer these horrors and then inflicting others because he refuses she leaves him) or even to confront Nikolai and Alina with what they were trying to escape: his family's mistakes for one and her own trauma for the other, Genya's story was an important one to tell.
As for Alina, I liked that her trauma was subtly disseminated throughout the series until Baghra forced her to express her pain and acknowledge she was a victim of Kirigan as well. I appreciated the series recognizes that although Alina wasn't sexually abused like Inej and Genya, what she went through is also traumatic. In addition to the betrayal of someone she trusted and was beginning to love, there is the physical abuse he put her through. He not only mutilated her with the deer but also used her body to harness her power, treating her like a rag doll he could use as he pleased. It was important to remember to the audience he physically abused her and that in addition to the psychological trauma, she still harbors the repulsion and horror that he physically subjected her to.
As for Inej, it was important to point out that, unlike the guys, she has an additional threat hanging over her: being sexually abused and/or exploited by their enemies. Inej wasn't just fighting for her life but for the control of her life AND body. And the rooftop fight scene was so stressful and hard to watch because you could feel all of Inej's desperation in that fight. What was at stake was more than her life.
My only regret is that after killing the madman, Inej trauma and her story are put aside. As a result, I was less emotionally connected to her the rest of the season. She was badass, sure, but that's all. However, I understand that with all the other traumas to be addressed (Kaz and Jesper's, for example), there was no room for hers.
Finally, even if it was very quick and not clearly explained, it was interesting that Alina recognized Zoya was also a victim of Kirigan and let her and Genya burn the body. Although Zoya didn't go through what Genya or Alina went through, she was a young woman at the mercy of her boss who treated her like a sexual toy before throwing her away like an old sock. Zoya was betrayed by her superior (from a military point of view) and sexually used by him. The focus has never been put on it, but there is something disturbing and not right when a man of power begins a relationship with his young protege. Zoya mentions he called her to his bed when he needed to take his mind off things. Charming...

2023.03.24 12:43 mattrfs Survivor 44 Episode 4 Contender Rankings
As the episodes continue to divert more screen time to advantages, it is becoming increasingly obvious who the true contenders are to win this game. While I feel like we've gotten to know most of the characters, only a few are visible enough and given enough depth to really be our potential winners (unless we have an Erika situation on our hands, but I doubt they'd make that mistake again). Sarah got one of the weirdest edits ever for a fourth/fifth boot, as she seems as though she'd be a prime candidate to be purpled but ended up with seventeen confessionals. I expect our next pre-merge boot to be similarly visible, but lacking in personal content, which leaves me worried for Danny, Yam Yam, Kane, and Matt as we head into next week.
Who are my top contenders? ...
- Carolyn. (+3) We all knew it was coming. Easily the most developed character with both personal and strategic content, and clearly in the best position right now. She is shown to be holding all the agency, making moves that strengthen her own game, and not compromising to benefit other people. Time was devoted to her 'red cross' on the cage, despite it ultimately leading to nothing as Sarah went home with the fake idol in her pocket. All of this combined with her cold open leaves me confident enough to give her as high as 80% chance to be the winner of the game at this point.
- Matthew. (-) One of two mat talkers to remain in my top contender tier. Besides Carolyn, Matthew feels like the other main character of the season. He gets dedicated time each week to explain where he is in the game and his confessionals about strategy talk are long and complex. His alliances are outlined, and he is also connected to a group of other well developed characters - them being Brandon, Kane, and now Carson too. When so many people that have strong content are grouped together, it heavily hints that their alliance are primed to make a deep run. There are a couple of red flags for me though. First of all, the shoulder narrative. It still feels like a med-evac is being foreshadowed - but would they really devote so much time to a pre-merge med-evac (unless of course they have already invited them back for the next returnee season)? If not a med-evac, it feels like it has been heavily suggested since the first episode that his dumb decision to climb the rock will come back to haunt him in one way or another. Also, I'm getting villainous vibes from Matthew, and they even used some Darth Vader-ish music to accompany him at one point in the episode. Villains can win, but more than not they are used as a final boss taken down by the eventual winner.
- Frannie. (+3) It's the mat talk scene that is still keeping Frannie so high, but even without that, her edit is not bad at all. We continuously go to her for narration on the Soka tribe, and she definitely feels like the most visible member of her group. We have also seen a bit of a bump in the amount of strategy we are hearing from her in the last couple of episodes, with her getting the key confessional this week explaining how she and Matt are a pair and Heidi and Danny are a pair, and they wanted to get rid of Josh, but Jaime arriving in their tribe makes that more complicated. She is also doing a good job of keeping tight with Heidi and Danny, and I liked when she offered to keep watch for Danny checking Jaime's bag in this episode. Moving forward I want to see a little bit of personal content from Frannie to solidify her as a top contender.
- Carson. (-3) I think people were right that I was overcompensating for the fact that I'm not a Carson fan by putting him at number one last week. This episode he got a bit of a cooldown, which was much needed, but we still got a little bit of strategy talk from him, noting that he knew in the position he was in that he could not afford to risk his vote at advantage island. There have been a few red flags for him - the Helen misread etc. but overall I do think he has been shown to be smart, and he's had tons of personal content which indicate he'll be around for a while.
Who else is still a contender? ...
- Danny. (+2) He also got a quieter episode this week, but that's ok because Soka were not that important to how the episode played out. He was shown to take the initiative to search through Jaime's bag, but more importantly he got a confessional explaining his decision to do so and how he felt about his actions ethically. This scene painted him as complex and ridded his actions of any potential negativity. I think Danny is definitely one to watch moving forward, and he would be in my top contender tier if it wasn't for his weak premiere.
- Brandon. (-1) Another consistently visible player who received a cooldown this episode. His unnecessary personal content from last week is still sticking out to me as an anomaly on a season that has tended to avoid highlighting player's backstories, especially when they are not relevant to what is going on. I'm not fully sold on him as a top contender because of the similarities in his edit to his favourite player Danny (41). He had a huge premiere followed by single confessionals in each episode reminding us of his presence. I think he'll likely be a late game challenge threat who gets taken out at final 8/7.
- Heidi. (+1) Despite technically moving up a spot, I do think Heidi's winning chances are slowly slipping away. All of the content she gets is of a good quality, but I'm not convinced there is enough of it. I was waiting for her to give a confessional explaining her choice to take out Claire at the start of the episode, but it never really came. I'm leaning towards her being important because she is Danny's #2 and a late gamer, more than because she is the eventual winner. Another week of lacklustre content and she'll be down into the next tier.
Who am I losing hope for? ...
- Yam Yam. (-5) A shocking episode from Yam Yam hammered with negativity which pulls into question everything positive we have been shown about him since the premiere. Up until now he has been portrayed as level headed and an extremely capable social player, but this episode we discovered that he and Carolyn butt heads all the time, and that everyone in the game sees him as a clear threat and the biggest target on the Tika tribe. Without more favourable content next episode to pull us back on track, I think the Yam Yam tram will be permanently derailed.
- Kane. (-) I'm still not out on Kane despite his poor premiere and his continued goofy portrayal. This was a big cooldown episode for him, which I think was warranted considering the focus he received in the second and third episodes. The only thing of note for him this episode is that the camera really focused on his struggles on the balance beam, and I don't think they needed to show us them at all if he was the eventual winner. I'm starting to see a potential losing finalist trajectory for him.
Who is not winning? ...
- Matt. (+1) A big cooldown for Matt after weeks of straight personal content. I've dropped him down into the not winning category as while I still think he's destined to reach final tribal, I think the dodo edit that keeps dunking on him (albeit affectionately) clearly shows that he is never going to be able to get control of the game.
- Lauren. (-1) Despite being visible in the premiere, all her content was circumstantial and advantage based, and since then we've seen so little of her that I'm confident in eliminating her. Again, I believe her extra vote will play a big role, but that she ultimately won't.
- Jaime. (-) I hope that Jaime makes it all the way to the end of the game because I love watching her so much, but she is clearly getting a dodo edit and was cast to be more of a character than a strategist on the show. I was impressed that she hid her idols properly, though.
- Josh. (-) He finally got to have some kind of presence on the show, but the eventual boot of the episode slating his obvious occupation lie is just another way the edit is telling us he has no shot to win the game.

2023.03.24 12:35 Cerb-r-us Remembering the weirdness of Shadow Fight 2
So I've started properly getting into fighting games after years of trying and giving up, and this has caused me to reflect on a fighting game I had forgotten about but still sunk an embarrassing amount of time into.
With the exception of the first entry, the Shadow Fight franchise is mobile-exclusive, which has significant implications for its design. Not only that, but Shadow Fight games also include RPG elements (for completely non-P2W reasons), so now character progression has to factor in. These, and other, reasons combine to create one of the weirdest designed fighting games I have ever witnessed, let alone played: some shit that would leave you speechless if you saw it in a desktop or home console fighting game.
Below are some of the highlights: NOTE: I have only played the second entry in the franchise, so that is the game I will focus on (though 5 seems pretty similar). Controls and Speed:
The worse ergonomics and smaller real estate of mobile touch screens means mobile fighters cannot be as fast or intricate as their larger-hardware counterparts. First, combat in Shadow Fight games is so slow that most moves are actually reactable (though whether you can capitalise on it has more to do with your character's recovery time). If you had an IRL fight with someone right now, it would be slightly faster than Shadow Fight 2. I point this out because other mobile fighting games - like KOF Arena - manage to work while being much faster. Maybe the physics engine depends on it (more on that later). As it happens, the reactability can result in some cool moments of ducking-and-weaving around enemy attacks, like in a martial arts movie.
The first defining part of Shadow Fight 2's controls is that there are no real 'input gymnastics'. It seems to take after platform fighters by having variation come mostly from directional buttons. You can win a Shadow Fight 2 match with an APM under 100. Besides that, there is one punch button, one kick button, and two other buttons I will get to later.
The second defining part of Shadow Fight 2's controls is that you block by standing still. You can still bypass it with command grabs (standing next to your enemy, and pressing punch and directing away from your character), and seems to be the exact opposite of Fantasy Strike's approach. Hitboxes and Hurtboxes:
Here is where we start getting egregious.
Shadow Fight 2 has physics-based character models. This means that whenever a character is - say - knocked down or anti-aired, their models ragdoll. To be consistent, the character's hurtbox changes in real time in accordance with how the model looks. Hitbox is directly linked to the shape and position of an attacking object (e.g. limb or weapon), and hurtbox is directly linked to the shape and position of any non-attacking or lower-priority attacking object (not counting armor). To put it another way, the boxes** are** the player model. This creates all kinds of fucked up situations and leaves precious few i-frames for any non-boss character. For example, if you dodge-roll in reaction to an attack and even a small group of pixels of an attacking object hits you, you will be dealt damage and - because your character is in motion - you will ragdoll. As you can imagine, this creates some monstrous Oki. Special Hits:
This apparently was not enough for Nekki (dev). They also decided to have mechanics for dealing extra damage under certain circumstances, like in an FPS. For example, you deal double damage on hits to the head. To add insult to injury (pun not intended), there are also random critical hits, though I don't remember how much that adds. What matters is that, if an enemy hits you in the head with a weapon slightly better than your armour and that becomes a crit, it can wipe off more than half of your health.
I must admit I kind of have a soft spot for these. They're complete bullshit, but even being on the receiving end can be a really cool experience when paired with the game's pretty good sound design and the slowdown that happens. Spells and Projectiles:
These are the two other buttons I mentioned earlier. Projectiles do what you expect. They are solid weapons that always sail vertically across the entire screen, and despite most anti-zoning techniques not really being viable in a game like this, most of them can be used an unlimited amount of times.
This game also has spells, such as Fireballs, lightning strikes, meteorites, and even a buzzsaw. Like the head and critical hits, they too are devastating, and high-level players gain a chemical dependency on them. Unlike projectiles, spells have a hit-based cooldown. Online:
Shadow Fight 2 is singleplayer only. Of course it is. This game came out before rollback was popularised, so pairing that kind of delay with an already slow-as-hell game would have been a terrible idea. So the online functionality I can remember comes in two forms.
- You could fight other people's character builds, controlled by AI. For this mode, all weapon and equipment stats were 'flattened' to a base level so that - say - a level 1 knife could actually compete with a level 23 staff, thereby expanding the pool of beatable characters.
- Raid bosses. Essentially multiple players would collectively fight this one boss by fighting them individually in their own localised matches, and whatever damage was dealt to each one of their 'manifestations' would be applied to a singular, shared lifebar. Whoever dealt the most damage would win (with prizes given to runners up).
Hopefully I have illustrated just how strange Shadow Fight 2 was from a fighting game design perspective. The more I think about it, the more I wonder how many of the designers had even played fighting games before. If you remember anything I've omitted, or found an mistake in my memory, I'd appreciate seeing in the replies.

2023.03.24 11:22 SpiritualPressure77 What are your opinions on Hell's knowledge of Earth?
In Season 2 Episode 3 of Helluva Boss, Blitzø made a reference to Shrek where they would crash the wedding and save Moxxie and it seems Blitzø has also seen Titanic yet Blitzø doesn't know what insurance is. In Truth Seekers, it is revealed that both Moxxie and Blitzø has seen Cats. What are your opinions on I.M.P. and other hellborn's knowledge of Earth? Do you think they know everything about Earth or just some things? Do you think they know all the movies and TV shows of Earth or just only some of them. I'm just trying to wrap my head around this because I think it doesn't make sense that Blitzø knows about Shrek, Titanic and Cats yet he doesn't know what insurance is even though insurance has been around for centuries.

2023.03.24 11:07 harlemkuku Im bad at Dofus (PvE) How can i improve.
So i play dofus on and off, i return every few months, quit, rinse and repeat. What Ive realized after quitting so many times is that i genuinely suck at high level PVE. I'm just not all that good at understanding how some level 190+ dungeons work, character placement, mechanics, etc. It just all confuses me. Some of these bosses just seem impossible to me. Ive played dofus for probably around 13-14 years, and still haven't done count yet.
I do enjoy pve, as i did enjoy dreams, but is there any realistic way to improve, or any simulators i can use to try to improve my skill level for some of these dungeons? I just find the PVE aspect of the game difficult.

2023.03.24 10:31 Dragon-King001 Can DMs really steal dead characters?
A little context: I come from the world of freeform roleplay, where god-modding (controlling another player's character's actions) is taboo. It is considered akin to character theft and an appropriate reason to boot the player who does it from the RP, assuming they did it knowingly.
As a freeform RPer, I would never condone such actions. Thus, when I learned on Quora (Q&A website) about a DM who set up a game where he set up a dynasty system, making players WANT their characters to die. Then as the final boss of the campaign, he took those very same players' dead characters and used them as NPCs against the very players who originally played them!
I read this DM the riot act, but according to him this was not only allowed, but the people who he did this to didn't protest.
Knowing how hard people work on their characters, this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Why was he allowed to steal characters from other people, even though those characters were now undead?
Coming from the world of freeform RP, I was extremely confused and very upset - this guy committed a taboo which would get him thrown out of every single roleplay I've ever played.
I even looked it up and it seems Gary Gygax himself forbade it as early as 1st Edition, so what gives?
EDIT: Since some of you now seem to think this post is "troll bait" let me explain:
I have no problem whatsoever with PLAYER characters being played as their PLAYER created them, whether it's the DM controlling them or their original player. It's when the DM alters them to make them behave contrary to the core beliefs of the character.
No matter who is controlling them, your characters are still your own - they are not generic mob NPCs, they are Player Characters. You created their backstory, their way of life, their personality. You expect them to be played along those same lines by anyone who uses them. But what happens when they are radically altered and made to act contrary to their personality, one that you created and affects you deeply?
Let me give you an example: You create a pacifist character. It dies, and then the DM resurrects and radically changes the character into a bloodthirsty warrior. Where's the respect in that?
There is none, that's where.

2023.03.24 09:32 LOOP16 Looking to create a one-shot for my buds, have some worries about how balanced my duo boss may be
So I've been spending a couple of weeks making this one shot, it'd be my first time dming so I know it's not gonna be perfect, but I still wanna create a fun experience. I've been consulting with one of my dm friends about the story so i'm not so worried about that, but I am worried about how powerful a boss duo I have is.
Together I'm pretty sure they're already pretty formidable, but when one of them gets knocked, the other is buffed a lot by having their speed doubled and attacks are more powerful (It's different for either character but that's the general gist). I'm not really sure how I playtest this to be a fun challenge, is there a way I can playtest this beforehand?
