The side panel audio appear red, meaning there is a problem,
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I checked and the audio plug , in the side panel and the motherboard. unplugged them and plugged them again being extra carefull they are plugged all the way in.
I installed all the windows 11 update possible, and then all the updates existing on the motherboard page, and rebooted.

Here we are, the beginning of the end of this series. I've loved writing this and know we are onto Hanako's parts. They are huge so I have broken them down into two separate parts. So, I didn't want to go the yandere train for Hanako because... Its Taro's sister, like WTF.
I instead chose her to display a more power hungry personality, she sees her brother as her pawn rather than a sibling. You'll see a bit more of this in part 2

Ayano wasn’t sure of what to make of the whole situation.
Osoro had completely vanished into thin air, though the bodies of the other delinquents where found apparently two were still missing. Tori had made her home in the Aishi household, Ryoba was a bit confused by the sudden appearance of the cockatoo but Jokichi had always been a fan of birds, “I had budgies growing up, besides it’ll make a cute little companion for us. Our YanYan is going to become a Lady of the manor soon!” He drew out the last bit as a joke in a faux posh voice which Ryoba did laugh at.
Tori had since gone onto claim Ryoba as its favourite person in the house, often sitting on her shoulder when she was cooking.
Since Akademi’s closure, there were now two different schools for the lost students to choose between: Buraza’s Post 18’s College or more elusive The Chikanari Institute. The teachers of the Institute found themselves rushed by the amount of girls applying to the prestigious private acadamy. Ayano thought that around 30-40% of them passed the exam, Midori had passed somehow which shocked her.
She was glad to still have her best friend attending beside her. Saki Miyu was offered entry as the daughter of the Mayor, Kairi Miyu offered to sponsor Kokona Haruka so Saki wouldn’t be alone. Out of Akademi’s Student Council, only Kuroko and Akane passed the exam; Aoi and Shiromi didn’t make the passing mark.
Saito Chikanari was always happy to take on more girls if they passed the exam, the fact that they came from Akademi made it slightly sweeter. Ichirou Saikou had rubbed the family the wrong way after implying that his noble bloodline meant nothing to them, the Saikou’s were nothing more than Nouveau Riche compared to the ancient clan bloodline he belonged to.
Saito had noticed an ongoing problem with the nobility which needed to be addressed: All of the families were related to each other in some way and inbreeding was bond to cause serious health defects. The Yuimine family of Okinawa were a prime example, they had married into a family that they were related to and now they all had health problems including a high amount of intolerances and allergies that could kill them. That and they were proving to be more and more infertile.
Saito opened his Institute mainly as a way to pick out and sponsor girls who could marry into noble bloodlines without the tinge of ‘being common’. Marrying outside of the circle was the only way to fix the issue.
He was quickly learning why someone as no nonsense as Itsumi Yamada née Yuuki had selected the young Aishi girl to marry her son. Despite the new surrondings and the trauma of who had taken place at Akademi; she was level-headed, calm and fiercely intelligent. He had no issue with someone like her becoming the next Lady Yamada.

His hair even still retained most of its rich blue colour into his mid seventies which was remarkable. He looked up at her “Ah. Miss Aishi, do come in child.”
She entered, before noticing a woman her mother’s age standing by Saito. This was clearly his daughter Ritsuko. “Your grace” She bowed respectfully before turning to the older woman “My Lady”
Ritsuko cracked a small but noticeable smile. Saito started “Tell me, young Miss. How are you finding your studies at the Institute?” Ayano thought pensively before answering.
“I find that my studies at the institute have challenged me more in regards to thinking outside of the box, I believe that to be challenged shows that there is room to improve. Your grace, not everyone can excel at every subject as there are many variations to how a person can solve a problem. Akademi touched on this but never explored how far you can go with this subject, the learning was pretty constricted and put us in line of working at Saikou Industries...”
The more she had thought of her time at Akademi, the more she realised that the Saikous were encouraging individuality now so that way they would be of use to the corporation later on. Personally, she didn’t like the idea of being earmarked for a job before she had even graduated.
“I didn’t think of it like that...” Saito tilted his head slightly “But your point of being challenged was very well put. As much as people still believe that the ladies of the family do nothing, its far more beneficial to have a spouse who can help you with things like: Maintaining an estate, charity fundraisers, parenting the children and such. Some nobles families like the idea of women being broodmares but a spouse with a mind of own will is invaluable.” He paused for a moment before continuing.
“The reason why I asked you here today is because my daughter, Ritsuko has something to ask of you”
She turned back to the woman. “My lady?” Ritsuko was clearly a fan of the finer things in life, considering that she was wearing a pink day dress by Alexander Mcqueen with a Mulberry handbag. She had slightly curly elbow length hair that was held back in a ponytail with a white ribbon.
“Do forgive me for the sudden favour, but I have a daughter that I recently adopted from another branch of the family. Her name is Kikyo, she is sixteen and due to debut high society. I’m personally rather worried that she will have a hard time making friends on her own, so I would like you to help her. You seem to have no problem making friends and with Itsumi teaching you, I believe that you would make a great role model for her...”
Ayano couldn’t help but smile softly at the praise. “Of course, my lady. I would be happy to help Miss Kikyo” Ritsuko reached into her handbag before pulling out a letter in a dark blue envelope.
“This is a personal invite to Kikyo’s debutant ball. Show this at the gates when you enter and you will get a taste of who awaits you”
Ayano took the envelope as if she was being given something sacred. She bowed deeply before she departed the office. Ritsuko turned to her father “She’s very polite, even though she has only been taught now for a few weeks. I know life long noble ladies who never quite mastered it. I rather like her”

When she had entered the Yamada estate, she showed Itsumi the invite. She gasped loudly.
“How? How did you get your hands on something like this?” She asked in a daze “The Chikanari’s never invite people from outside their circle, especially for Ritsuko to give this to you!”
“She asked me to escort her daughter Kikyo when she makes her debut.” Ayano explained, Taro simply nodded in the background before he spoke up “I’ve heard that Miss Kikyo came from the Sunobu branch of the family. That and her upbringing with Kizana was… less then ideal.” He pointed out “She’s apparently very shy and timid so that’s problem why you been asked to help her. You have a very real gift when it comes to make friends”
He took her hands and held them tightly “Ayano, if this goes right then you may have just befriended the most powerful family in Japan apart from the Imperial family themselves” A chill ran down her back at that moment, she had to get this right.
Hanako appeared disinterested in the whole situation “I don’t understand why this is such a big, commoners escorting commoners. Are you sure she didn’t steal that invite? I wouldn’t put it past her, being a commoner and all...”
Before Ayano considered replying, Taro ripped into his little sister.
“Hanako, would you shut the fuck up for once?!” The room fell silent. “Ever since Ayano has been here, all you have done is talk shit! What part of you thinks that I consider her common? In lineage, sure, but I don’t see what your problem with her is. She has done nothing to you!”
Hanako had dropped her drink, Taro had never yelled at her.
Ever.
“B-but Taro… Look at her, she’ll never be like us!”
“What you mean to say is that she won’t be the way you want her to be. Some broodmare who tucks herself away and pretends she doesn’t exist when I’m done with having children. But she won’t be a broodmare, she will be MY WIFE. MY Lifelong companion, MY support when I need her. I don’t know what your problem is with her but I swear, if you continue then I will have you removed from this place and the line of succession as soon as we are legally married.” He spat as he loomed over Hanako. His dark eyes filled with spite.
“Are we clear?” He hissed.
Hanako fled the drawing room, up to her bedroom where she slammed the door and crumbled to the floor. What the fuck had that witch done to her brother? He never acted like that with her, even when she removed all the other common bitches from his life. All her work of moulding her brother into a perfect groom for her chosen bride had come undone and he was turning on her.
She could feel the stone cold fear wash through her like she had been thrown into ice water. She was struggling to thrive in her own home.
She wouldn’t be able to teach her mother’s pawn a lesson in front of the Chikanari family as Hanako herself had been blacklisted from the estate because she had rightly pointed out that adopting Kikyo was Ritsuko scraping the bottom of the barrel for an heir. Everyone knew she was right and yet she faced Ritsuko’s wrath alone.
She huffed until her eyes fell onto her phone…
She had an idea…

Kikyo Chikanari, true to Taro’s assessment, was painfully shy. The girl had stood awkwardly by Ayano and Midori for several minutes before gathering the courage to speak to them. The uniform for the Chikanari Institute almost seemed to fit her perfectly: A navy blue blazer with gold trimming and stiching with the logo of the Chikanari Institute on the left breast pocket.
The logo was a Japanese Lotus flower on a Heraldic Crest.
The Blazer came with a white and gold under shirt, a pinkish neck tie, navy blue skirt or trousers depending on what you preferred with jet black Mary Jane style shoes. If you were from a noble family, you had detachable gold chains with the lotus flowers that would attach to your collar; If you were sponsored by a noble family or anyone when you were given a rose gold lotus flower chain.
Kikyo had her deep blue hair put into a ladder braid. She tucked a loose hair behind her ear as she walked up to the two girls before her. The first girl had snow white hair, held together with a big red bow, with bright green eyes (She believed that her name was Midori). The second girl was clearly the one her mother had spoken to her about, with stunning purplish-blue eyes and a gentle disposition about her.
“Hello, are you Kikyo?” The girl with black hair asked tenderly.
She nodded “I am. Y-you must be...” Her voice caught in her throat “...Ayano”
“I am” She responded “This is my best friend Midori, would you like to come and sit with us?”
Kikyo nodded enthusiastically. Midori moved on her seat to give Kikyo enough room to sit down, Midori couldn’t help by marvel at how Ayano could dismantle Kikyo’s shyness with a couple of questions about what she liked to do in her spare time. Kikyo, as so as it tuned out, really enjoyed crochet and had a project going on at home.
“I’ve been making a blanket with little clouds on it. I feel more at home when I’m doing my c-crochet...”
Midori piped up from the side “I’ve been getting more into origami in my spare time...” Kikyo centred her attention on the other girl “Origami? I like that too but I-I’m not very... good at it.”
The young woman pulled out one of the origami rabbits from her bag and showed it to Kikyo who picked it up with a keen eye. “This is amazing! However did you perfect it?” The snow white haired girl smiled sadly, rabbits were Mai’s favourite rabbits. Where her room was once full of videogame posters, they were now taken over by origami rabbits…
She felt relieved yet terribly sad who the news was given to her that Akademi was closing, it had been the place where she met most of the gaming club. Many of them had gone to schools outside of the district, but she also couldn’t get the memory of watching Mai’s head fall from her shoulders no matter how hard she tried.
Some nights, before going to bed; she swore that she could see the floating, rotting head of her best friend in the mirror watching her as she went about her life. Her naturally bright blue eyes replaced by two pits, skin greying as decay set in.
Midori couldn’t help but envy the girl known as Kikyo a little bit, she didn’t seem damaged at all though she did wonder how the girl had become so shy, the stutter also wasn’t lost on her. While it was clear why she had such difficulty making friends, she felt that she had actually struck an odd friendship with the sixteen year old.
Ayano was someone who Midori had come to admire in a way. Though she was just as traumatised as Midori, Ayano was always looking for reasons to smile. She and Taro honestly made a sweet couple and she was genuinely happy for the pair.
A touch of envy did set in every now and again but she supposed that it was natural. To see someone you hold dear get the one thing that you were robbed of. Midori could no longer bring herself to play the games that Mai was so fond of, every time she tried it ended in tears of despair.
But that didn’t mean that she was forever out for the count, if Mai couldn’t live her life to the fullest then it was up to Midori to live a life that they both could have chosen to have. She would reach the heights that Mai had dreamed of.

The night of the debutant ball had fast approached, Kikyo had been with Ayano and Midori every minute that they weren’t in class and she felt that the younger girl was someone she could depend upon. The moment that she arrived at the Yamada estate, she was whisked away so she could get ready to make her person debut into high society.
The bath of water, rose oil and jasmine petals had been an experience she never thought she would get in a lifetime. Both relaxing and refreshing. Then, after she had gotten out of the bath and had been dried, she was shown the dress that she would be wearing.
She gasped loudly.
The rich indigo velvet had been crafted into an off the should dress with a sweetheart neckline. The train of the dress flowed in a mermaid tail shape. On the neckline and the edging of the sleeves, silver embroidery of chrysanthemums and hibiscus flowers brought out her heritage. “This is amazing” Her eyes sparkled with tears of joy at the dress.
“Taro designed it, just for you” Itsumi explained from the doorway. She was in a splendid wine red silk gown with gold detailing, her prized gold and black onyx jewellery “Your mother told me about your distant Korean heritage for her side of the family, I figured Taro would have incorporated that in the design somehow” With her head pins and way she carried herself, Ayano was reminded of the empresses from the television shows she watched about the Chinese palaces.
“I may have told him that it would put you at more ease if you had a part of your family with you tonight” She winked. “I remember my first time, being inducted into the noble circle. To sooth me, Ren crafted a hairpin from a broken heirloom of mine.” Itsumi smiled fondly at the memory.
“I know that no matter what happens tonight, you will make your family and mine proud. Just don’t forget what I have taught you and you will shine bright like a star in the sky.” She reassured her future daughter-in-law before leaving Ayano so she could get into the dress.

Taro felt a bit of out place without his beloved by his side but she had the most important job of the night. It had also not been lost on him that his friends and the other noble men his age had been curious about his mystery bride.
“Come on Taro! Tell us about her!”
“Is she pretty?”
“What is she like? Is she clever?”
It really didn’t help when he would blush as if he had a fever whenever she was brought up.
“Oh boy, she must be a stunner if Taro’s made speechless...”
Then, the moment came…
Kikyo Chikanari entered the grand ballroom in a girly, sparkling white dress. He thought of a swan when he looked at the dress, it was graceful and perfect for a young maiden such as Kikyo. She was shy, which the boys found very endearing though Taro found it personally off-putting for a daughter of noble blood.
Then the girl he was arranged to, No, destined to by with for the rest of his life entered the room. He had personally designed the dress from head to toe and she looked totally exquisite in it. The velvet layers hugs her hourglass figure in the right way, he was going to show off his future bride to the world.
The dress fit her like a glove, many stares of other men was ripped away from their company to look at the young woman with her bright eyes. Her hair had been done up into a bun with curls falling below her sholder every now and again, Her silver and sapphire earrings with the matching necklace made for an unforgettable view of her.
He had fallen in love with her when she was wearing the baby-ish sailor uniform that Akademi demanded that the girl’s wore, but now she was a goddess walking among men. A single white rose had been neatly placed into her hair, to designate her as Kikyo’s official escort.
“Wait… That’s her?” One of the other boys questioned from behind him.
“Yes, that’s her.” Taro never took his eyes off her “My Ayano…” He beamed with pride, watching her flawlessly introduce gentlemen and ladies to the debutant of the night. To his horror, he couldn’t help but notice another figure among them.
Megami Saikou was in the ballroom, having dresse in a dark green outfit which showed to damn much of her cleavage to attract Taro rather than drive him away. She tried to make her way through the crowd to him, only for Taro to run away and hide in another group. It was clear as day that Megami was furious that he had chosen someone that she would call disposable as his bride over her.
He would rather cut his throat open and burn his home to the ground then marry a Saikou.
It was so fucking obvious that Hanako had clearly slipped the information about the ball to Megami, she had clearly come to try and seduce him. She had been obsessed with him since their childhood, Hanako liked both Megami and Osana but all Taro could see was a train-wreck of a person.
Megami was eyeing up his beloved as if she was going to be easy prey. ‘Go for it you foul bitch. Go on, humiliate yourself and your morally dead family’ He pleaded, he begged.
The woman with silver hair moved towards Ayano, who was quick to notice the old student council president. It was no secret that the only reason she had won the seat was because she had driven out the only person who could have decisively beaten her: Eimi Puresu. The rest of the old student council had left with her but Kuroko stayed. She ruthlessly chased perfection at the cost of other people’s academic lives, getting people expelled if they did not meet her expectations.
“You are the one who claims to be the next Lady Yamada?” She called out loudly, attracting the gazes of the people in the room. ‘She didn’t address me the way she should have...’ Ayano noted before smiling with contempt.
“Miss Saikou, what a pleasant surprise! I didn’t realise that you would grace us with your presence tonight...” She had chosen her words carefully. Itsumi had taught her ‘The words you choose will reflect on what people will think of you. The nobility love flowery language, do your best to avoid cussing. You can cut down an unwanted visitor to size without swearing once if you know how.’
Her statement was crystal clear ‘You weren’t invited’
“Oh dear” Megami tried to imitate her “It seems that Ms Yamada’s senses have taken leave. You aren’t very pretty, are you? However did you curry the favour of the Chikanari family with your dirty common blood. Common blood attracts rats like bees to honey...”
‘Is that how you want to play it?’ Ayano refused to let her smile slip from her face ‘You picked the wrong place to do this...’
“Do forgive me Miss Saikou, but before you attempt to disgrace my heritage perhaps you should look back on yours”
Whispers and laughter filled the ballroom.
“Good heavens, what a scene!”
“I rather like that dark haired girl”
“What amazing composure in the face of a horrible insult!”
Saito Chikanari and Itsumi Yamada watching the scene with curiousity. “You trained her well, Ms Yamada. Very well indeed. It pleases an old man to see a lovely young lady stand up for my little grand-daughter” He commented “If it weren;t for knowing where she came from, I would believe her to be a finely trained noble lady.”
“If I’m completely honest your grace. I’m surprised that you haven’t removed our unwanted visitor from the ball” She remarked, flicking a glance at the Saikou girl.
“I was sorely tempted to do so, believe me Ms” Saito laughed “But, I have to admit that I’m rather enjoying watching your bride tear apart the silver snake"
Megami, on the other hand, was having real difficulty keeping her anger in, the sheen in her soulless silver eyes reflected disgust. She bellowed “You dare to insult my family, you common wench! Person like you deserve to-” She forced herself to stop talking.
“Go on dear. People like me should what?” Ayano innocently asked, batting her eyes a bit to disarm anyone who was unsure about her. She knew, somehow, that Taro would be revelling in this display somewhere.
Megami was biting her tongue clearly, whatever she was about to want or wanted to say was clearly unsavoury.
“You must forgive me but you should watch how you speak to the people around you dear, this is neither the place to fight or to argue. Now, I have a job to do so do yourself a favour and leave me to my duties” Yet again, the meaning of what she had said cut through the crowd ‘You are not worth my time’
Ayano guided a star struck Kikyo to another group of young gentlemen who wanted to dance with her but Megami wasn’t finished.
“A vile cunt like you should do us a favour and die”
Horrified gasps filled the ballroom. Itsumi launched out of her seat and was ready to crack the skull of the silver snake open but Ayano held up her hand and shook her head. ‘Oh… She has a plan’ Itsumi nodded at her successor. Ayano turned to Megami, who appeared slightly de-shelved from the ugly wrath coursing through her veins.
“Megami Saikou” Her voice boomed through the ballroom “As much as I would love to continue our debate, I have the duty of escorting our lovely debutant tonight. You know, there’s a word for woman like you but it isn’t used in high society outside of a kennel”
Ayano smiled and turned away.
Megami had been holding a glass of red win in her hand the whole time, she threw it in Ayano’s direction...

Commander Candice shouted back as she scaled scafolding next to an old triglavian battleship, "I want at least 4800mm EXTRA armor on her, put at least 6 more plates on this baby, im gonna need them!" she said
-Hours beforeOfficers of f0rced entry were all gathered around a conference room. Military jargon and the sounds of de-briefing filled the room as the officers attempted to come to a collective assesment and planning, of the next moves they wanted to make.Everything had been hammered out for the most part, it was a relitively simple plan... The aggressors in this region of space were so hungry for blood and spare parts, they would kill anyone on sight for nearly anything. This got the attention of our leader MCKen Daugherty who had just so happen to get off communications with some incredible friends of his, these were allies who wanted to come pass by our outpost and they gladly said they would support us in a major counter-drop.The only thing left to do was to draw straws..."Man,I better not get picked again.." one of the officers grumbled to himself as he took a straw, and sighed in reliefAn officer went around handing out all the 'straws' until one remained: She took it from his hand, and felt the adreneline building up inside her body again. Early Morning hours, Maritus 23It had been half an hour since Candice had undocked the triglavian battleship, "what, now they want to get cold feet?" she thought to herself, "paitience." she reminded herself as she focused on the task at hand. Her hands glided over the controls of the ship, the quiet hum of the ship as it unleashed the power of the sun was still something she never could get used too. You would expect something so devistating to make noise, but the weapon barely made a sound (it helped that the weapon was not physically attached to the ship)"you ever get that feeling that you're being watched?" she joked over the private communication line between her and the ship that was quietly tailing her as she blasted all the local pirates that were trying to set up a blockade on one of our stargates, "Heh, I know what you mean. stay calm, it could happen any minute now."Landing at the next gate to begin clearing the blockade for the way forward, alarms buzzed as her ship came into VERY close contact with the arazu that was supposed to be tailing her. The ship lit up like a tree and was shot several hundreds of millions of miles away.Waiting a moment, Candi just returned to shooting the pirates on the gatecamp; he'll be back in 3... 2 .... 1 ...Suddenly; right on cue in a bright flash of light, the Arazu class vessel appeared right next to her as it made the return trip from the same jump-gate.Once again! she said as she locked the arazu up and started pouring the sun into the ships armor plating which began to sagg and deform as it was heated to white hot temperatures.As expected, the arazu opened its cyno beacon and brought the a rather formidable kill-team of 'local terrorist extremists'. "They're here! they brought all their blops battleships; including the 'marshal' class vessel (the group had managed to steal from a concord forward outpost that had been abandoned; its inventory assumed destroyed as the region fell into chaos.)
Asar Karde had personally seen to the extortion and bribery of any local officials that had been in the area before he and his gang had shown up, this had led to many easy victories for him and his crew. Along with the abandoned concord-police station that had been assumed destroyed after Asar forged a video of its apparent "demise" and jammed the areas signals, he laid siege to the station until the commanders inside gave up and were subsequently slaughtered after being promised to be let go if they surrendered without a fight, the station also housed one of the state-of-the-art concord rapid response ships known as "Marshal" class ship. The technology that came with the ships onboard suite, (though the ship was now in a sorry state) stolen from its intended users and covered in graffiti, poorly fitted weapon systems hung awkwardly all over the ship, yet the onboard firing control suite made anything they put on the ship 10x more effective and quite honestly would be a very scary vessel to Ken and his outfit if the group using it had any clue how to make use of it. Fortunately, this wasn't the case.
Sporting a demented smile, Captain Candi K. in her Triglavian vessel targeted the Marshal that came through the portal just hundreds of feet away. "I've got you this time." she thought as she changed targets. "Get in here boys! the waters gettin' warm!!" she shouted as another recon decloaked and lit a beacon. Candice knew her ship would never survive at the rate it was taking on damage. Ten enemy battleships came through the enemy beacon and no amount of plating seemed to be enough as trillions of joules of energy bombarded the hardened tungsten, superheating it much the same way as its own gun did to the arazu and marshal. She set the controls to autopilot and diverted the last remaining energy to the warp-scramble moduel and energy plating as she prepped her ejection frigate, "Bingo!" she shouted with glee as she pulled the bright orange lever on the side of her seat. separation charges blew the emergency escape hatch open for her frigate as she dropped out the back of the ship just as it was starting to fall apart. Hello NH sub! With the warm weather approaching I'm seeing a few notes asking for good walking/hiking trails! If you're someone who likes taking walks in the woods, I would highly suggest downloading the All Trails app.
Some trails that I have personal experience with:
Majory swope in Concord: can be a pretty light hike. You get a great view of the water reserve for Conord at the "top." There are multiple trails you can take - some longer, wome shorter. Winant Park: another great easy hike. Great for kids Sewall Falls: my absolute favorite. Not hike, more like a nature walk. We take the dogs and kids there frequently in the summer. Some great swimming spots
What's your favorite near you?
