So 1st this game is very optimised and can be played even on a potato, you can simply close/open it and switch between your opened windows. 2nd is you can use it as music player: Install some songs from official forum of Osu! Osu! Beatmap forum . Then find it in file folder and open this file then song and beat map will install to your Osu! So you can play it now. In main menu click on three lines in left upper corner, it will open all songs list that you installed, and you can listen it even when it Is collapsed window. And it support high quality sounds with 3D effect. 3rd You can play it with your friends, or some guys that want to play too, make some competitions, or join ones, but you still can just fun with your friends. 4th Osu! Interface is customise-able, you can download skins, or change it by your own. Osu! skinning forum. Complete skins will not be updated, but other will. osuskins

New mapper here, I've been working on a beatmap for Takt - Giga, Teddyloid remix on osu, but i just can't seem to hit those pesky circles. Is it my bad mapping skills or just my computer latency? Any tips for this specific beatmap that i need to change?

2023.03.22 12:26 D3ane I recently bought a new laptop, and the delay on it is absolutely insane, even when not using wireless headphones
I've been playing osu for 4 years or so, and I always played on the same desktop with no problems (no delay or offset). Recently, I bought a new laptop and I realized that the delay on it was insane; after some experimenting, I figured out I had to put the universal offset at -200 for the song and beatmaps to sync up. It's impossible to play with hitsounds, though.
What confuses me is that this delay just *always* happens, and isn't caused by using bluetooth earbuds/headphones; even when using the laptop's speakers or the usual wired headphones I use on my desktop, there's still this insane delay. My laptop is on the same level if not better than my desktop, so I have no idea why this is happening, which is why I'm here asking for help. What can be causing this and/or how can I fix this?
The laptop is the Omen 16-c0010np (AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, RTX 3070 8gb, 16gb RAM)

2023.03.19 17:24 purple_watcher I'm having trouble with moving opera gx onto my 2nd screen lately
 | in the top right corner where the plus for a new tab is too close to the magnifying glass for searching tabs that after a certain amount of tabs, I can't drag opera gx onto my 2nd monitor or from my 2nd to my first. Idk what happened since I didn't have this problem like 3 or 4 days ago. Before it would always make sure I have enough space to drag it like google chrome, and I think every other browser. Hello there, osu!reporters. I'm currently reporting an account that has joined 2 weeks ago, because I've seen the lazer leaderboards of The Big Black (which is currently the most played Approved map). Since there is no one reported this user, here is why this user abuses the lazer score submitting bug:
- This user sets a glitched score, with a whopping score of 2,147,483,647, which is the limit of a signed 32-bit integer number (2^32 - 1), plus it has 63,535x combo and 63,535 300s, which are the 16-bit integer number limit (2^16 - 1).
- There is no way a maximum standardized score is 2.1 billion, but afaik, the maximum standardized score in lazer is 1.4 million. And this is just a nomod score, which means the supposedly maximum standardized score is 1 million.
- This user has 2 minutes of play time and 25 plays, which is more than suspicious.
- This user sets an SS on Xeroa top diff (nomod), with 1 billion score and 3.6k pp (the user's top play). Plus an impossible SS nomod on IOException's Oshama Scramble top diff, with 1 billion score and 2k pp. Also SSes the hardest ranked beatmap ever wtf (only 100 score and it's just SS) (https://lazer.ppy.sh/scores/2234367729)
- The only legit plays are Harumachi Clover (Koalazy singing ver; Laura's Hard diff) C rank 78.97% nomod, and Embraced by The Flame loved map D rank 63.40%.
- Oh and~ https://lazer.ppy.sh/scores/2234373636 Ascension to Heaven 100% with glitched rank (it doesn't display)
- It's probably a multiaccount of someone else.
- It went offline 31 minutes after the user made this account.

The background had a white and blue anime-ish picture with a single character in a tea time party theme iirc. At some point (I think the very beginning) the singer says something like da-da-dura da-da-didura. The voice is similar to Reol or Vocaloid.

They also only alternate which is a bit of a sign that they could be using relax cheats.

I installed arch linux after 1.5 years and the problem I'm facing is that I can't open new beatmap's like I used to in the window by double clicking on beatmap file and it automatically installed that map in game. how can I archive this functionality in linux.

2023.03.11 10:05 Traditional_Neat_506 Challenge: Beat TDS Fallen Mode without special towers(no Golden, Event or Hardcore towers)on any map while playing osu! Extreme beatmaps that are hard songs.
Good luck to anyone who does this, my mental is deteriorating if i keep trying this challenge, i've attempted it more than 23 times and no success. Also playing songs in osu! is nonstop playing hard songs until you reach Wave 10, 18, 20, 30, 32, 40. So these waves are breaks and gives you time to upgrade or place more towers in TDS.
