Rockstar Games may already be planning Grand Theft Auto VI DLC. Fans have been chomping at the bit for more info on GTA 6 for a while as it will likely be one of the biggest games of all-time. Rockstar Games continues to raise and set the bar in a way no other developer is capable of and that will likely be no different with this game. Red Dead Redemption 2 was an absurdly innovative game that is a benchmark for open-world gaming and GTA 6 is both the follow-up to that and the second-best-selling game of all-time, Grand Theft Auto V. The developer is taking its sweet time on its next game and we've already caught a couple of glimpses at it thanks to leaks, but we're still waiting to learn more about it.
With that said, a recent comment from Rockstar Games insider Tez2 noted that they believe Rockstar is on track to announce GTA 6 this year and likely release it next holiday season, with room to delay into early 2025. In order to ensure the game does not get delayed more, Tez noted that Rockstar may have to start cutting content from the game which could then be finished and repackaged later as DLC. It's not something that's totally out of the question, as Rockstar did repurpose some stuff that was cut from Grand Theft Auto V later in GTA Online. Reports also suggested that when Bully 2 was canceled, some of its concepts and features were salvaged for Red Dead Redemption 2.
"I personally see an announcement as a given this year," said the insider. "I don't think the upper management is in a position to delay further to holiday 2025/2026. Cutting more portions of the game to package into DLCs to release later on may be sustainable for management than delaying further."
With all of that said, it's not necessarily a bad idea. In order to get the game out in a reasonable time, stuff will have to be cut, that's the nature of game development. However, it's always a good thing if it can be recycled for other content later down the line. Not only do you get a more fleshed out experience, but it keeps the core vision of the game in-tact. Rockstar has largely moved away from premium story DLC in recent years, so it's unclear what this DLC would look like, but it will likely be years before we even see it.

I play Football in a German Football Team and every Year there is a thing called rookie baptism where you have to do challanges through a evening and at the end u have to tell them why the older members shoud by you as a rookie and then there is an "auction" where they can buy you.
Durring the next Season the "own" you and you have to bring meals for them on gameday and carry there stuff durring training.
I startet playing FB last year shortly after the rookie baptism so I had to wait a whole year for it (durring the time where you didnt had your rookie baptism u are a rookie owned by everyone) I told them that this year durring summer I have to leave bc I go to the USA to do a social year.
So since last April when I started I woarked my ass off to show them how much I want this and that even when I am not the full next season there I can be a good rookie.
Yesterday was my rookie baptism and did every challange perpaired the things we shoud do bevor rookie baptism (learnd a dance and planned 5 min where u shoud intoduce yourselfe in a funny way with womes clothes or stuff like that).
The other Rookies got sold for 80€-140€, even the onces who failed half the challanges and didnt prepaired there 5 min and didn´t learnd the dance....
Things that increased the valu where things like:

• Good at Drinking beer
• Own a big car
• one is a cook , the other was a plumber

My problem is I own a Car but not a big one, I can Cook but not as good as a Cook and I dont drink beer.... Thats why I tried my best at the Challanges and worked my ass of the last year everything possibile for me as a student who hasn´t learnd a job jet or big car.
I got soled for 35€ (thats the minimum) and only 1 person tried to buy me....... Becouse no one want a Rookie thats only there for half a season.
I played it off like I was cool with it but it fucking hurted.
Today I told them that I not gonna play for the rest of the season becouse I cant fokus on FB becouse of my exchange year which I need to prepair.
I love playing FB and I understand that a Rookie for half a Season is shit but it still hurts to get sold for the minimum Amount with no one wanting you.

In a world with social media at our fingertips, it often seems as if marketing a film is easier than ever. This, of course, has its benefits for both production companies and audiences, with studios having better marketing success with their films and audiences having greater knowledge and therefore choice when it comes to their next viewing experience. Many may argue that this is largely a benefit to the film community, but that debate is for another day. What this does mean however is that when a film with a great cast, crew, and premise comes along and for some unknown reason, chooses to stay mysterious, the attention of many is instantly caught. There are many indie flicks or art-house experiments that go under the radar but, with a film as large as 65, it comes as quite a shock.
65 has been spoken about for years now, with the film being announced back in 2020 and Adam Driver being cast in the movie shortly after the announcement. This gave ample time in this marketing-driven climate for a whole lot of details about the film to emerge. Alas, there have been mere whispers and surface details announced and, to many, it has been long enough now that we must assume this is a marketing tactic. It took until December 2022 for fans to finally get a trailer so with that in mind, and with intrigue rife, here is everything we do know about 65... so far.

When Is the Release Date of 65?

For some reason, the release date of the film has changed several times during its production and post-production process, with many sources often giving conflicting information. In May 2020, it was announced the film would release on May 13, 2022, however, other reports suggested a date in April. More recently, the date was pushed back considerably to March 10, 2023. But that wasn't the end of it and the 65 was delayed by another week and then brought back to the original date. If the current schedule holds, eager fans will be able to catch 65 in theaters on March 10, 2023.

Is 65 streaming or in Theater?

"65" is not streaming for sure yet. Besides this, given the lack of information available on the movie, we are unaware of any streaming websites where the movie might be available. Let alone the date, when will it be? All we know about the film is a mysterious astronaut on a mysterious planet, which has led to mysterious marketing for what seems to be a mysterious film.

Where to watch 65 Online Free:

As of now, the only way to watch 65 is to head to a theater when it releases on Friday, March 3. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or buy on digital platforms like Vudu, Peacock, Apple and YouTube, or become available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Following its release in theaters, the film will be available to stream on Prime Video. Expect the movie to hit the streamer 45 days after its theatrical run, which should be sometime in April. it's most likely that Prime Video will be the main platform that will stream 65.

Is 65 Streaming on Netflix?

65 won't probably be available on Netflix because Paramount Plus should be the only streaming service to provide it. That would be a very bizarre move on the part of Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group to permit the horror film to stream elsewhere.

Is 65 streaming on HBO Max?

65 is expected to stream on HBO Max at some point after its theatrical run. No official streaming release date for the movie has yet been given, but as it comes from Warner Bros., it will likely arrive on the platform after its cinematic debut barring some unprecedented events or a unique deal.

Is 65 streaming on Prime Video?

After completing its huge $8.5 billion acquisition of MGM, the movie studio behind 65, in March 2022, Amazon Studios will undoubtedly be making the film available to stream on their Prime Video platform.
The first two Creed movies are available to watch on the streaming service, so it is just a matter of time before 65 also makes an appearance. No official date has yet been set, but it will likely take a couple of months from the film’s theatrical release before it is available for streaming.

Is 65 Available On Hulu?

Viewers are saying that they want to view the new movie 65 on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

Who is in the “65” cast?

Adam Driver is the first and most prominent name to be revealed in the movie. Driver's appeal broadens even further, with the mere mention of his name ensuring high viewing numbers for any production. Driver has developed a stellar reputation in Hollywood through his brilliant character acting, making his contribution to this team at the very least comforting. Although he excels in many genres, the lead actor may be unfamiliar with this kind of science fiction. This would imply that the script and idea were compelling enough to convince Driver to join the production, demonstrating the movie's feasibility.
Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman from Gunpowder Milkshake will appear on television with Driver (Love and Monsters). Predictably, the known cast list ends here, and the character names are still a mystery.
Even if there is little information available about the movie, what we do know is enough to spark interest in its release, making 65 one of the movies to watch in 2023.

I have only seen 8 movies in the theater this year. Out of all those 8 movies, 3 of them had rude movie goers.
The first is M3GAN. I saw this on a Thursday night in January, and it was just all around a bad experience. Not only were there kids behind me that were talking, but three adults next to me were using flash photography. FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!!! Is it that hard to turn your phone off? What is it you need to take a photo of in the theater, asshole?
The second was Missing. I also saw this on a Thursday night, and a group of teenage girls were sitting in a row near the front. They were screaming very loud, and screaming again. Me and the entire theater had to shush them, and it was so satisfying.
Side note: Why are kids watching a movie on a school night?
The third is Shazam: Fury of the Gods. This was on a Saturday afternoon. There were kids in the front again, but they were using flash photography frequently! My friend was nice enough to go and tell staff, and I even saw a staff member talk to them. After that, no more flash photography.
But seriously, why do people think this is okay to do? It's disruptive and very inconsiderate. Did you come to watch a movie or dick around???

Hello. I haven't taken the time to write a game-related essay in years, so you can count this as keyboard diarrhea. TL:DR below.
Across three operating systems (Windows, Mac OS and Linux Mint) and the Switch version over an eight-year period, I haven't taken the time to address traffic, budgets and supply lines while avoiding excessive pollution to such an extent without having my cities fail. Well, on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, after fighting near-bankruptcy several times dues to catering to several college and professional sports teams, I finally reached the final tier for the first time (Megalopolis). For a few minutes I had a grin on my face, saying out loud "FINALLY! NOW I can join the other Skylines fans in that my lazy butt finally got the hang of the systems, knew which policies to use and/or avoid, corrected congestions, connections are solid, and the campus didn't bankrupt the city! YES!" Right after the Heavenly City achievement popped up on Steam, a little while later another achievement popped up (Distinguished Academics, meaning a five-star campus)! Thanking Heaven that the struggle and expenses finally allowed the educational money pit to still reach top-tier, I soon saved the session as two different files and exited the game.
Steam's post-game summary, which I reviewed once I quit the game, was weird...
The game just celebrated it's eighth birthday, yet only 9.5% of players unlocked the Heavenly City achievement, which requires a population of 85,000 which also unlocks monuments. At the time, I knew that there had to be more than that - after all, Colossal OrdeParadox Interactive/Tantalus sold almost thirteen million units across computers and gaming consoles. The Campus-related achievement seemed only weirder - only 1.1%?
Wait, what? Surely other people than myself and a select few have nurtured a university campus and virtual students' needs until they reached the final tier. This couldn't be right - unless gamers just didn't care. Did the majority of gamers skip the campus DLC? Were campuses just not worth the continuous investment? What does this say about other Skylines DLCs?
Then the junior accountant part of me (usually suppressed on weekends when I play games) surfaced. One-and-one-tenth of a percent of 13 million past and present gamers¹ is still a lot, right? Surely the achievements are broken, right?
It turned out to equal 143,000 players, or licenses having earned the achievement. Well (shrugs)...out of thirteen million, it would make some sense. But why so few, besides the fact that caring for a university campus can be downright PAINFUL at times, and before the Campuses DLC was available, players dropped a "generalized" university in the city and called it a day if they wanted to fill the office buildings and industrial administration openings throughout the city. The Campus DLC is also one of the "younger" DLCs (May 21, 2019)² And yet, I saw a shot of a user's campus which was built like a palace on a land peninsula out and nearly over an ocean...(this was before I remembered that the campus must have been built with the Infinite Money mod).
Okay...what about the bigger factor? Out of 13,000,000 units sold, it makes no sense that only 9.5%* of registered copies officially earned the top population-based tier. I mean, reaching that tier is part of the normal manner of playing the game. If a player doesn't screw up, they'll reach the tier eventually.
Except it equates to 1,235,000 licensed copies having recorded that goal*.
This is where the analyzing stopped and my calm, rational self took over.
1) Steam is only counting Steam-based licenses. The total number of units sold is spread amongst PS4, Xbox One S/X, Windows, Nintendo Switch (facepalm), PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, making my calculations invalid. With the pandemic bringing additional players back to the Steam version and Epic store as well as creating a larger console player base (especially now that Cities: Skylines Remastered for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is now a thing [TWENTY-FIVE TILES without mods!? AAAAARGH!!!^{3 4}). I wasn't able to pull up console sales data easily, but it doesn't excuse the fact that my numbers are off. Thus, it can be said that more gamers have achieved the goals, it's just that we can't easily see it. Then again...
2) "WHO CARES?" Maybe, just maybe, gamers are using this as a more sophisticated form of Minecraft." Knowing that achievements are disabled the minute that gameplay starts with mods enabled, players are simply finding their creativity heightened, zen strengthened and their personal goals realized without the constraints set by the developers - achievements be [expletive]. We see the large uber-metropolises (metropoles?) shown here on this subreddit and others. IRL urban planners use the game as a simulation tool. The water physics are still under constant observation and are exploited in various ways (oh man, who can forget THIS⁶?). And lots of players have the guts to play outside the rules (darn you all with your 81 tiles and enough RAM to run it!) rather than be squares (me, apparently!).
I say all of the above to say this: am I one of the few people still playing within the constraints of the game while others "mod it up" and have fun their way? All these years I've had great fun with the challenge of the game, but am I really one of the few that do so? Is this because of the game's age? After all, the past eight years saw me complete my Bachelor's, move across the country, have a heart attack scare, and stop buying off-the-shelf computers and finally learn to build/upgrade my own. Does this mean I and others who continue to play this way are "hardcore"?
TL:DR - Finally reached the Megalopolis tier after eight years of playing and see my university last long enough to reach five stars. Face fell when I saw the percentages of players who reached the same goals. Incorrectly calculated numbers for data explaining the low numbers. Decided that it's just a game, who cares, and this Reddit post may as well be tissue paper for readers' backsides.
And with that...time to launch Cities: Skylines, buy a new tile, and see if I can build an airport without going bankrupt (probably not) while listening to Christopher Titus's podcast. Thanks.

Filed 1/26 accepted 1/27 had the path message then the tax topic 152 now my bars disappeared this morning. Transcripts still N/A for 2022. This is the craziest tax year ever. Is anyone else dealing with 2022 tax hell season?

I’m a teacher in a small private school in the Caribbean. I am local (my family has been here for literally centuries) but my principal (whom I’ll call P from now on) and vice-principal (VP) are expats from the US of A, and neither of them really understands how to run a high school effectively. I’m not saying their nationality is the reason. I have worked with amazing teachers from around the world, US teachers in particular. It’s just that for P (who’s also the owner of the institution) the school was established as a pet project back in the 70's so she’d have something to do while her husband was at work at his multi-million dollar company. VP moved here about ten years ago, but she’s never been interested in assimilating into the local community, preferring to hang out in gated communities with other expats. She likes having a job she’s not qualified for (as she has no training in educational management), and she relishes the fact that she got the VP position over qualified local teachers simply because her blonde hair, blue eyes, and Carolina accent remind P of her daughter.
It’s been hell working at this school because VP is a megalomaniac. She will tell you that the grass is purple, and when you try to correct her - no matter how kindly and knowledgeably - she will insist that the grass is purple and then make you paint the grass purple for her so she can prove she’s right. The only reason I stay at this school is that I love my coworkers, the students are super sweet, and I’m the breadwinner of my household until hubby is done with university, but sometimes my VP is so fucking insane that I want to whack that mole with a kanabō.
One of the best examples of this behavior was during my first year teaching at this school. I had only been a teacher for two years prior, but I’d had quite a bit of experience with national and international exams. I’d tutored the SAT since college, and I’d proctored several SAT sittings at my previous school. It’s safe to say that I knew the exam pretty well, and I kept up to date with changes to make sure my kids were always ready.
Now, I’ll save the backstory for another post (because it's juicy!), but during my first year, VP had an arch-nemesis. To be honest, VP has an arch-nemesis every year. It really is like some bad anime. My coworkers and I think VP targets someone every "season" to use as a scapegoat/sacrifice for her ineptitude. She blames all the school’s problems (which are usually 75% VP's fault) on that single person so that she can convince P to fire them and claim that all the school's problems have been exorcised with that teacher. But this particular teacher was a hurricane. Long story short, this math teacher (MT) was crazy, but she was a great counter to VP’s insanity. They got into fights all the time, and one of the stupidest fights was over calculators for the SAT.
Our school had just been certified as an SAT center, and we were going to have our first SAT sitting, but VP honestly believed that our school was going to be the first school ever in my country to host the SATs. Never mind that several coworkers and I had taken SATs and APs in high school here in my home country. VP told P that she was single-handedly introducing CollegeBoard to this country, and in P’s eyes, everything VP said was gospel truth.
VP was extremely nervous about hosting the SAT. She was anxious that representatives from CollegeBoard would waltz in during the exam and find something out of order that would get our center shut down. She ignored advice from seasoned SAT proctors because they "weren't American", so how would they know anything about an American exam? Because VP was so nervous and completely moronic, she somehow misread the SAT manual; hence, the following drama ensued:
Two days before the first SAT sitting at our school, MT barges into my classroom during one of my planning periods, steam pouring out of her ears. Behind her is a crowd of 11th graders, wailing and yelling.
"That bitch has lost her mind, OP!"
Horrified by MT's language in front of our students, I race to my door, usher MT in, and shut out the kids. I ask her what's wrong.
Apparently, VP showed up during MT's class with 11th grade, who were all signed up to take the SAT that Saturday, and announced that NO calculators were allowed in the examination room. She claimed that after thoroughly reading the SAT manual, it was clear that the SAT did not require calculators and, thus, if any student were to bring a calculator to the exam on Saturday, VP would expel them from the center.
I was stunned. I'd been tutoring the SAT for some time, and while I didn't tutor math, I knew that there was an entire section of the SAT that required a calculator. However, I also knew that just a few weeks prior to this debacle, VP and MT had gotten into a huge argument about calculators. According to VP, MT was teaching our high-school students to rely too heavily on calculators, which was a sign that MT wasn't qualified to teach math. It was obvious that banning calculators from the SAT exam was not a mandate from CollegeBoard but rather a poorly understood at best and insidious at worst ploy to validate VP's disapproval of MT.
MT demands I talk some reason into VP. While I ain't no fan of MT, I'm worried about our students. It was their examination that was being jeopardized by the petty feud between VP and MT. However, I'd had enough experience with VP to know that, in this situation, the grass was purple, and no amount of arguing was going to convince her otherwise. The woman is like a rhino - when she runs, she runs full-force forward. So, I decide to go straight to the headwoman, P, but before I do, I print off an up-to-date copy of the SAT manual straight from CollegeBoard's official website and read over the calculator rules just to make sure. Can you believe it? Calculators WERE allowed. I shove the manual in a folder and walk over to the administrative office.
I arrive at P's office and ask our secretary if P has time to speak to me privately. Unfortunately, VP just so happens to be in the vicinity and before I can even take a seat on P's couch, VP enters P's office and takes a seat across from me. P, of course, sees nothing suspicious about this and asks me to explain what was so urgent that I had to meet with her so abruptly. I can tell VP knows: she's got this weird coy smirk on her face, but I ignore the desire to scrub it off with acid.
I explain to P the situation: how there's been a misunderstanding about the use of calculators in the SAT exam; how our registered students are scared and confused about the banning of calculators; how it is absolutely fine, and probably necessary, for students to use a calculator for a certain section of the math test. I see P's laptop on the couch, and (forgetting my print copy in my folder) I ask P if I can use it to show VP the up-to-date SAT manual. At this point, I don't want to shame VP. Shaming her would only cause more strife, as she is a vengeful woman. I place the laptop in VP's lap and show her the rules about calculators - how there's a list of dozens of accepted calculators for the exam. VP lets out this disgusting half-sigh, half-croaking noise she makes when she realizes she's wrong or has done something stupid. Then, I reach for the laptop so that I can show the manual to P.
Ya'll, before I can take the laptop, VP presses the power button and shuts the laptop down cold! Then, she casually closes the top panel and lays the laptop on the couch farthest away from P. She tells P that I've only confirmed what she already knew: that calculators are NOT allowed in the SAT room. People, I couldn't feel my body. It was like my flesh had turned into TV static. How could VP blatantly lie like this? The proof was right there!!!
Of course, P believes VP entirely. P tells me that under NO circumstances are calculators allowed on campus during the SAT because, as VP has already told her, if a representative from CollegeBoard shows up and sees a calculator, our center will be shut down. P is even considering banning calculators from campus indefinitely. I mean, who needs them right? Not trigonometry, geometry, and calculus students!
It was at that moment that I remember that I have a copy of the SAT manual in the folder on my lap. Just as casually as VP had been with the laptop, I take out the printed manual, turn to the page on calculators, get nice and cozy in the seat next to P, and read the manual next to her with my finger on each word, explaining everything I'd said about calculators. I also turn to the front cover to show her the year this manual was issued - that very season. P is amazed.
"Oh, VP! Calculators ARE allowed. The manual you were looking at must have been old."
Ya'll, I know that was bullshit. I know P is just as insane as VP, but I didn't correct P. You may disagree with my inaction, and so does my heart, but I had just won a major battle. I was drained by having to prove the truth was the truth and facts were facts. At that point, I only cared about my students. VP glares at me with the fakest smile and says how happy she is I had a printed, updated copy of the SAT manual to show them before the exam.
It's been a few years since this happened. I wish I could say that VP is no longer with us, but sadly, she's still here causing chaos. MT was fired that June. VP is as resilient as a cockroach and eats P's shit like chocolate cake, so I've had to learn how to deal with her until I can make the next step in my career. However, this story does have a happy ending. My students were able to bring their calculators to the exam during that first sitting without a hitch. I made sure of it, as I was the admissions officer that Saturday. VP has never pushed her argument further either. It's hard, I suppose, to refute cold, hard facts, but what's funny is that whenever VP and I discuss me proctoring the next SAT exam, she reminds me of that hilarious time MT tried to get calculators banned from the SAT. Ya'll, I nearly fainted the first time VP said this, and she was so confident!!! Laughs like it was a quirky mistake that some idiot made. I usually tell her how I remember the incident rather differently than she does, and every once in a while when I'm feeling randy, I go so far as to say, "Wasn't that you?" It feels good to see VP's face turn into a beet.
P.S. I know my stories are long, but I think, just like pulp, the juice is in the details, and I've got loads, especially about my entitled bosses. If you want to hear some even more incredible stories about VP and P, let me know. My fingers are itching!

I’ll make a long story short. I have 2 kids with my ex. She was cheating behind my back, I found out and we split last year. I have carried out children on my taxes and w4 for the past 3 years. Once we split I had multiple conversations with her saying that we should both just carry one child and be done with it. She would literally never answer the question.
The most recent time I asked she said she’s not worried about taxes right now so I said ok I’ll just drop it. About 2 weeks ago I was going over my finances and started getting stressed about the whole tax thing so I went ahead and filed. About a week after my return was accepted she lost her job and I got a notice in the mail she is filing for child support.
When we were going through the breakup phase my friends and family were constantly telling me I’m too nice to her and specifically a female friend of mine was saying the way she did me there’s no way I should consider letting her carry the kids as dependents and should file as soon as I have a the necessary documents.
I’m just wondering if this was an A hole move. Idk maybe I am too nice. I don’t plan on keeping all of the money but I do believe if she carried the kids I wouldn’t see a dime of it. I also plan on this being my last year to carry them since we are no longer together.

Last crosscountry season I ran 18:42 even tho I went into the season injured and out of shape. I am looking for a plan that will peak around 50 mpw and get me prepared so I can run a low 17 5k this upcoming cross country season.

As I walked into the motel, I saw Bryson,Darius,Martin and Jayden sitting at a table near the front desk, discussing what to do. I quietly walked closer but then I heard the door creak behind me. Turning around, I saw 2 military guards enter the room along with a very beaten and bruised Eddie.
"Sorry i'm late, the facility has been overthrown and we cannot return anytime soon". He said
The soldiers glanced at Eddie, expecting him to say Just Kidding or something but he only had a grim look on his face as he pulled out what looked like a blue oval that was around 3 feet in diameter.
"As you may all know, The Pilgrim has harnessed power from Yellowstone Volcano and we need to destroy it". Eddie said, "This is a bomb that if placed into the Caldera, will cut off the Pilgrims power and stop it from becoming even more powerful". Eddie stated.
"Wait- you're dismissing the elephant in the room here, Director". Jayden said.
"Yea, what happened at that facility of yer's"? Martin asked.
"Kyle and a couple others have been rallying a secret group to overthrow the facility and use it for their own purposes. They tried to kill me but I escaped and took a helicopter with my trusted guards to Yellowstone so we could finish the job here". Eddie stated, "We need to kill this thing before it escapes the National Park-". Eddie went to say but I cut him off.
"You want our help NOW?! I'm not gonna do your dirty work and risk me and my friend's lives". Darius snarled.
I watched as his hand twitched, I remembered how my father used to do the same thing.
"We will help you, but on one condition Eddie". I stated.
Darius and Bryson looked at me in shock.
"After this mission, we NEVER help you again and we wish to do what we want, and not be restrained by the facility". I said boldly.
The director chuckled and said, "Yea, sure, it's not like you're asking for something big but I expected nothing less from you". Eddie smirked.
"A deal's a deal". Eddie stated and held out his hand for me to shake.
We shook hands and Eddie told us his plan...
Martin and Jayden were to Distract the Pilgrim using the helicopter that held 2 large mini-guns. The helicopter looked oddly familiar. Me, Bryson and Darius were tasked with reaching the Caldera and Eddie and his soldiers were to set off a large explosion at the motel when Martin and Jayden lured the Pilgrim nearby. Before they explode the motel, Me, Bryson and Darius are to set off the bomb, weakening the pilgrim. Once the mission was over, we were all to meet up near the destroyed motel.
I thought the plan was pretty good but I had a question on my mind.
"We don't know how to set off the bomb". I said to Eddie.
"Oh- uh, It's really easy, just press the Orange button at the bottom of the bomb. It will set a 30 second timer so you can get away from the explosion radius". Eddie said.
"Wait wait wait, Are you all forgetting something actually IMPORTANT"??! Bryson said, clearly annoyed.
"We need weapons"! He said when nobody responded.
One of the guards sighed as they took out a large case filled with a large water gun and 3 water bottles for everyone.
"W-What the hell are these gonna do"?! Bryson asked.
"They are actually extremely effective against the Pilgrim since it's immune to regular bullets. This is a prototype of H209, Which is water that is unable to turn into a gas and is extremely cold". Eddie stated.
"Isn't that basically liquid nitrogen or something-" I asked but Eddie cut me off.
"There's no time for dumb questions, we've delayed the plan long enough. Lets go". Eddie stated.
And with that, we were all led out of the motel. Darius was given the bomb because it was extremely heavy even for 2 trained guards. Me and Bryson held our water guns close but then I heard Bryson whisper something to me.
"Hey, you still got her"? He asked.
"Oh, yeah sure". I said, handing him his desert eagle.
He gave me his water gun as some sort of trade off.
We watched as the helicopter flew above and went slowly out of sight.
We had no interruptions for the first half an hour into the forest, For some reason, Yellowstone National Park was eerily quiet despite us being in a forest. I couldn't even find any animals.
We were walking through a tight passageway with a lot of trees and rocks in the way. Darius couldn't just brush the trees out of the way since he was holding the bomb so we had to do things the hard way. Me and Bryson managed to get past but Darius was having a bit of trouble. It took a couple of minutes before we got him through the tight squeeze but we managed.
"Wait, I just remembered, How are we supposed to know when the pilgrim is at the motel". I asked, my stomach tightening into a knot
"Don't start having a panic attack on us" Bryson joked, pulling out a radio from his pocket.
"Oh, phew". I sighed.
"Hey, Darius you've been pretty quiet, how are you holding up"? I asked.
"Something is off". Darius said.
"What do you-" I went to say but then a large Sasquatch came out of the nearby treeline.
"Is that Bigfoot"?! I asked in shock.
Nobody had time to answer me as Bigfoot ran straight towards us, fist's balled, ready for a fight.
Bryson quickly took out his desert eagle and shot Bigfoot in its eye.
"RUN"! Bryson shouted.
We ran through the forest, hoping to get some distance from the thing. Eventually we took a break and Bryson took out a map. Conveniently, we were pretty close to Yellowstone Volcano. We continued running towards the location and eventually we reached a familiar clearing.
We thought we were in the clear when suddenly, Many lava creatures emerged from the Caldera and ran towards us, letting out terrifying screeches.
Bryson tried shooting them with his desert eagle but it barely did anything. I remembered the water guns and handed one to Bryson and began firing at the creatures.
It took a couple shots to kill even one of them but we were holding up well against the endless horde.
We heard a radio crackle to life around 3 minutes into the battle.
"Guys, you have 1 minute to set off the bomb". Eddie said from the radio.
I quickly handed Bryson my water gun and told him to cover us. I grabbed onto Darius's back as he started running towards the Caldera. Me and Darius were halfway towards the Caldera when a couple of the lava monsters noticed us and chased us. They were getting closer and closer despite Darius's immense speed but we heard a couple shots go off from behind and we were no longer being pursued. We quickly reached the Caldera and Darius leapt into the air, pressing the button and thrusting the bomb into the middle of the Caldera, mid air.
We landed on the other side of the Caldera and we heard all the lava monsters screeching as they died. We all then heard a loud screech from the Pilgrim as it lost lots of its power.
Bryson ran over but suddenly, as he was halfway around the Caldera to reach us, Lava tendrils erupted from the Caldera and began attacking us.
Darius was grabbed and yanked off his feet and I desperately grabbed him and held onto a nearby tree that looked pretty sturdy.
Bryson saw what was happening and shot at the lava tendrils that held Darius. It worked and Darius only suffered some burns on his leg that healed quickly. I looked back at Bryson to see him desperately trying to reload his water guns before a tendril reached out to grab him.
"BRYSON"! I screamed and ran towards him but it was already too late. I watched as the lava tendril grabbed onto Bryson and I heard his screams as his body started burning before our very eyes.
Darius ran towards me and prevented me from getting closer as more lava tendrils were reaching out towards us.
I watched as with one final effort, Bryson threw his desert eagle towards my direction and it landed a couple feet away. I picked it up and looked at it mournfully. The tentacles were getting closer but I didn't care, it seemed as if the entire world had stopped. The tendrils were about to grab me when Darius picked me up and ran towards the direction of the motel. I looked back to see the lava tendrils slowly shriveling up and turning into obsidian.
I closed my eyes and cried silently into Darius's shoulder as he ran back towards the motel. It only took a couple minutes before we reached the motel. We saw that the Pilgrim had grabbed the helicopter and Eddie and the guards were fending off some lava monsters. There was a detonation lever a couple meters away. Darius ran towards the lever but was suddenly slapped away by one of the Pilgrims lava tendrils. I watched as the pilgrim crushed the helicopter and 2 people jumped towards the ground.
I ran over to see if they were ok and saw that Martin was shaking Jayden.
"No...No....Jayden WAKE UP"! Martin said, holding Jayden.
I didn't want to look at the sight anymore and I quickly ran over to help Darius but realized we were surrounded by lava creatures. I remembered that Bryson had the water guns last and for the first time, I gave up. I sat down near Martin and closed my eyes. I wondered if i'd finally see my father again. A smile formed on my face as I imagined seeing my father and Bryson again. I was interrupted from my fantasy as Darius slammed through the lava monsters, grabbing me, Martin and Jayden and ran towards the lever.
"Whatever you do, Make sure to hit the LEVER" Darius roared as the lava tendril slammed into him again. He threw all of us forward and towards the lever. Martin was too busy trying to see if Jayden was ok so it was up to me to press the lever. With effort, I ran towards the lever, already exhausted from everything that had happened. I reached out and touched the lever before being grabbed by my other arm from a lava tendril.
I screamed in agony as I held onto the lever for dear life. With enormous effort I pressed the lever down and the motel exploded.
Debri went everywhere, trees collapsed and everyone was blasted back. The pilgrim was currently on top of the motel, using it as a height leverage and to be able to attack more people at once but now the Pilgrim was blasted into the air and collapsed onto the building, The lava tendrils shriveled up and turned into obsidian as the pilgrim was trapped in its own creation. The pilgrim started laughing maniacally as Darius walked towards the Pilgrim cautiously and rammed his claws into the Pilgrim, finally killing him. The Pilgrim let out one last demonic screech.
I grunted and tried to get up but my burnt arm and my legs covered in rubble along with my exhaustion forbade me from doing such. Eddie and his guards were the only ones who were not extremely close to the blast since they were fighting off lava creatures from the forest but one of his guards was crushed by a falling tree.

It's been around a week since that happened. I'm still recovering from my wounds and finally found the will to post this. I'm currently with Darius, Eddie, Martin and Jayden. Yea, we managed to find a hospital and we all got patched up with most of my money earned from working at facility 14. Jayden had a concussion and broke both his legs but he was going to make a full recovery. He is in a wheelchair currently. The facility has been taken over by some group of people and I fear the day they go to look for us. We are not ready for any attacks from anyone at this point. I got the phone I stole a while back recharged. I got out of the dead guys account as sometimes I'd find messages from his wife asking if he was ok.
We are staying with Bryson's family right now. They live in a two story house that has a warehouse that Darius stays in. You might be wondering why and how we found Bryson's family and i'll tell you. On the desert eagle that Bryson threw to me, an address was etched onto the side. I didn't notice it before and when I informed his family what happened, they didn't take it that well but they understood his wishes and allowed us to stay with them for around a month if we wanted to.
As I look out from the balcony I wonder how Bryson and my father think of me right now. Despite everything that happened, me, a 16 year old, has survived despite all odds.
I walked downstairs to see Eddie waiting to talk to me.
"hey, kiddo". He started, "I know we made a deal but we could really use your help getting the facility back under my control-" He went to say but I cut him off.
"You're still asking for help!? Despite being in the house of a man who died for me and Darius. You owe us, why should any of us do more for YOU"! I ranted angrily.
Darius walked into the room and accidentally bumped his head against the ceiling again.
"What's going on here" Darius asked.
"Travis, you're missing the point here! If they release those freaks-". Eddie was cut off by Darius slamming his fist into Eddie, sending him crashing into the wall. He rubbed his chin as he slowly got up.
"It's not our problem anymore". I stated.
"That's where you're wrong, you didn't complete the mission..." Eddie started.
"What do you mean"? I asked, confused.
"You said you would help me on the condition that after you helped me you would be free to do whatever you wanted. You're not done helping me yet and the deal isn't complete until we get the facility back under control. So you're helping me or the facility will still hunt you down and kill you and your friends". Eddie stated.
I was appalled at how he was twisting everything. Knowing that I no longer had a choice, I sighed and agreed.

I(21F) have a childhood friend group of four(including me) since 7th grade. We have always been going out together to different places and the friendship is still intact between 3 of us. One of my friend (21F) got into a relationship with a guy older than her when she was 18. He is a Dj and keeps getting called to play at different clubs and bars. My friend has always been supportive towards the guy and used to go to every club he was playing at the moment on the weekends and most of the time she used to ask us to come along as well. I personally don't know the guy but since he came she has been very distant with all us and also whenever we ask her to hangout with us she used to refuse.
Fast forward to 2022, she was working in a company and making good amount of money and sometimes used to tell us to hangout and chill in the evenings, Everytime it was not possible because everyone was busy with their lives as well but still the entire group tried to hangout as much as possible. Whenever we used to go out if 3 of us pick a place to hangout she used to deny everytime and we would end up going to her desired place to hangout. We basically adjusted for her always and this has been going on for a long time. She still ditches any plans made with us for the plans with her boyfriend(only if the plan is not made by her) but never ditches her boyfriend's plan for us. She is always wanting us to move according to her plan and schedule.
Recently she lost her job and she has found a new job. Every weekend it's a ritual for her to go to her boyfriend's party where he is playing. Recently she has been complaining alot about money and that she doesn't has money so she cannot go out with us. This can definitely happen there are people who are not financially doing well but she has been spending money on clothes for the weekend and have been going to expensive places to eat with her other friends and whenever i see that it makes me frustrated. I don't know but maybe she expects me to drive her(i am the only person in the group to know how to drive and own a car) and others to pay for her because they have a high paying job. Today we all planned to go out and explore some places and she said that she doesn't wants to go and explore because she has no money and also those places aren't for her(she was the one to ask all of us to hangout and pick a place which she will eventually choose) I rashed out on her because all these have been going on for years and told her that we cannot always go to places where she wants or eat what she wants being the fact that she is not paying for gas or food! I clearly told her that she can spend money on everything else and with everyone else but when it comes to hangout with us she suddenly doesn't have any money. I asked her to ADJUST for once if you are going out with everybody and everyone just cannot adjust for you all the time. (She left the group chat). So AITA for confornting her on this???
