Smite yu huang build
3 Paladin builds you couldn't make before.
2023.03.24 10:24 No-Watercress2942 3 Paladin builds you couldn't make before.
When considering the new Paladin, it's very telling that it hasn't really changed when compared to the 5e version - if you use the same melee knight build. The only headline becomes "you can't smite as well".
However: there are three completely new ways to build your paladin effectively in One D&D. I've included flavour because that's fun. What's fascinating is the way Sacred Weapon functions completely differently on every one!
Build 1: Rotten Kevin Bacon (the Support Spell-adin)
Race: Cthonic Tiefling, Background: Entertainer (Musician), Level 4 Feat: ASI (Charisma)
STR: 13 DEX: 13 CON: 14 INT: 8 WIS: 10 CHA: 18
Looks like a corpse, but celebrates life to its fullest and is devoted to sharing those opportunities. This build rides on a frightening corpse-like horse, but gives Heroic Advantage every short rest to spur everyone on, and allows you to support your allies with Bless, Resistance and Spare the Dying, while using your Chill Touch cantrip for damage. When the time comes to wade into combat, Sacred Weapon allows you to choose between a Ranged or Melee weapon, as your Charisma becomes you primary stat for the attack roll. As you level up to 9th level, Abjure Foes, Spirit Guardians, and Aura of Vitality allow you to support your team even more.
This build was the most viable in 5e, but it wasn't exactly "good" unfortunately.
Build 2: Comrade Dwarfsky (the Punchadin) Race: Dwarf, Background: Farmer (Tavern Brawler), Level 4 Feat: Grappler
STR: 18 DEX:8 CON: 14 INT: 10 WIS: 12 CHA: 16
This dwarven paladin is the new folk hero, devoted to freeing the oppressed working classes with his bare hands, riding into battle on a cow with healing milk. Punching people across the room with unarmed smites and grappling enemies to give you advantage with furniture attacks, you're a surprisingly competent lockdown tank in the defense of your allies. Resistance is still excellent, and you're able to hold enemies within your auras to help your allies, and ultimately microwave them with radiant damage at 14th level. BUT HERE COMES SACRED WEAPON ON THE STEEL CHAIR! As it functions "as a club/ great club" it gains the simple weapon benefits of sacred weapon and radiant strikes, so eventually you're going to use this to amp your damage up too.
Build 3: Buzz Elf-year ("the Range-adin")
Race: Wood Elf, Background: Hermit (Magic Initiate primal), Level 4: ASI (Dexterity)
STR: 13 DEX: 18 CON: 12 INT: 8 WIS: 12 CHA: 16
This elven Paladin rides into battle on a teleporting elk and shoots down their enemies with a bow that gleams with moonlight. Sacred Weapon and the Archery Fighting style gives you a +12 to hit at level 5, and allowing you to trigger Hunter's Mark (or divine favor if that feels too dirty) and dealing 2d8 + 4, +1d6, +smites each hit. You're a deadeye that's hard to pin down, though ot comes at the cost of supporting your allies or tanking effectively.
These three builds all play very differently to each other, and to Chuck Paladin the melee knight. I think this build variety is an excellent addition to the game, but this is the furthest I could push these from the original fantasy.
tl;dr: the new paladin is very versatile. Here's some examples.

2023.03.24 10:21 Vegetable-Cobbler734 Is Nvidia still a buy? The GTC conference unveiled new hardware and software that brings great potential!
| https://preview.redd.it/sx0hvg95onpa1.jpg?width=463&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cdb71dcbc1cc569d74ff1f7d3f5bfdfde9bcb4e6 At the GTC, Silicon Valley's largest artificial intelligence event, Nvidia's founder CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, showed the world his determination to march into AI and showcase a series of king-size products. Because there are too many professional terms involved, even if you are from science and technology, watching the video will also be a bit overwhelming, so I spent a long time to figure out how to use more simple and easy to understand words to explain to you, and analyze each new technology will bring what good impact for Nvidia in the future? After all, Wall Street institutions love it when companies have a steady stream of new stories, just like Tesla, where the number of stories and the stock price are often directly proportional. https://preview.redd.it/nqnsc169mnpa1.png?width=626&format=png&auto=webp&s=c6980be23ed1359bd46624b966770ef3b08870c4 At NVIDIA GTC 2023, Jen-Hsun Huang, still wearing his signature leather jacket, gave a keynote speech while standing in front of the vertical green wall located at NVIDIA's headquarters. The presentation focused almost entirely on artificial intelligence. The highlight of the whole GTC conference - Launch of ChatGPT's dedicated GPU, H100 NVL with dual GPU NVLink.
https://preview.redd.it/n6t2rkedmnpa1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39229641d2db08d8a566c49ed7ceba724a037b9a The benefits are simple and straightforward: faster and lower cost. How faster: A standard server with four pairs of H100 and NVLINK can process 10 times faster than the HGX A100 for GPT-3 processing. According to the website, the H100's combined technical innovations It is possible to increase the speed of large language models by 30 times. Ontology reduction now: H100 can reduce the cost of processing large language models by an order of magnitude. In a sense, computational cost has become the core issue hindering the development of generative AI today, and OpenAI has burned billions, if not tens of billions of dollars for this reason, and Microsoft has never opened the new Bing to the wider public for cost reasons, even limiting the number of conversations users can have per day. https://preview.redd.it/d5gho9ahmnpa1.png?width=656&format=png&auto=webp&s=fd83b7b22523da785d9a8d0068dfc86f9ca73a6c NVIDIA is launching a more efficient arithmetic solution at this time, which is undoubtedly a big problem for the industry to solve. In fact, Huang has repeatedly said he has seen the development potential of the AI industry 10 years ago, as well as the decisive role of GPU for AI. Nvidia is precisely optimistic about this, only to throw its weight behind the development of GPU products more suitable for AI. OpenAI launched GPT-1 in 2018 with just under 120 million parameters, while GPT-3, the last one to announce its number of parameters, has 175 billion, and while some experts believe that ChatGPT and GPT-4 have potentially smaller numbers of parameters, most voices in the industry believe that more powerful models assume this larger parameter size and consume more computing power. OpenAI has published information that thousands of NVIDIA V100 GPUs were used to train the previous generation of GPT-3, and research firm TrendForce reported that GPT-3 used around 20,000 NVIDIA A100 GPUs for training, and that the number of GPUs needed for commercialization of ChatGPT will be over 30,000. will reach over 30,000 GPUs when ChatGPT is commercialized. Such a large number of parametric operations means that ChatGPT needs powerful arithmetic to support its training and deployment, and the arithmetic depends on the underlying chips. Chips, especially GPUs, CPUs, FPGAs, and custom high-performance chips, are the "core underlying power" behind ChatGPT and other potential AI chatbots. DGX Cloud: Bringing AI to Every Enterprise As an early practitioner of the computing industry Huang Renxun witnessed the development of this industry for 40 years, his technology is getting closer and closer to everyone, but we also see the higher the threshold of computer programming, forming an invisible technical gap, so that most ordinary people are getting farther and farther away from programming, but also let many traditional industries do not really use digital technology to enjoy the benefits of arithmetic progress. This time, Nvidia whole a big job is to "ChatGPT same model" moved to the cloud, open to the public. The DGX Cloud is an AI supercomputing cloud service, and you know how invincible it is just by hearing the word "super". It is characterized by the ease of handling high-load computing work, in addition to Nvidia also sells services to expand the scale and influence of Nvidia. But the price is not beautiful, enterprise customers can rent $36,999 per month. https://preview.redd.it/24k9mh9qmnpa1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=48f9b35d16ff7f6506630d0bcb81aa00612fe3e8 DGX Cloud provides support from NVIDIA experts throughout the AI development process. Customers can work directly with NVIDIA engineers, tune their models to the best possible state, and quickly solve development challenges in a variety of industry use cases. In 2016, Huang hand-delivered the first DGX supercomputer to OpenAI, and seven years later, the DGX Cloud gives top-notch AI computing power to every company to accomplish tasks that were previously impossible. It is easy to imagine that advanced applications like ChatGPT, which can improve human communication and increase work efficiency, will continue to emerge, bringing more convenience and surprises to our lives. https://preview.redd.it/bq2he3qtmnpa1.png?width=656&format=png&auto=webp&s=cfe093deac977f4f6b952bbf24e1141f9d163fcc ChatGPT I myself think, from the bottom of my heart, is a really, really great thing, and the amazing thing is that everyone has a different reason to use it, and everyone finds it very INTERESTING, and that's its charm. Summarize articles, write code, tax returns, write poetry, but also from a chart to see the laughing point, so powerful that you fine drop jaw, although it can not do some things today, but the future are possible to achieve! ChatGPT appeared for the artificial intelligence industry is equivalent to the iPhone in the field of cell phones, which I think the old Huang said a good point! Everyone can take the idea of mobile computing and bring it together into one product, and we see a product that everyone likes, whether you are a farmer, a doctor, a nurse, a front-line worker, an assistant, a travel agent, or a small business, a restaurant owner, it doesn't matter, everyone is a programmer, isn't it? And it's ChatGPT's terrific that's bound to make Nvidia terrific later! So how good is Nvidia now? First, the most intuitive market value to give you a comparison: at present, Nvidia market value of $ 653.8 billion, has been nearly six times the market value of Intel, and than Tesla market value is almost $ 50 billion. Nvidia in the AI data center GPU field almost no competition, controlling 90% of the market, competition in the AI acceleration chip market with a partial monopoly position, all the core chips of artificial intelligence, can not be separated from Nvidia. Nvidia's chip is indeed cattle, ChatGPT in the entire planet can not find a replacement chip, from the egg theory, without Nvidia's chip and large model training, there will be no ChatGPT. Nvidia's AI supercomputer DGX is the engine behind the big model of language, DGX has become a necessary tool in the field of AI, so the development and prospects of artificial intelligence are dependent on what Nvidia can upgrade its own chip to. In addition, NVIDIA also released a breakthrough computational lithography technology manufactured with 2nm chips - NVIDIA cuLitho computational lithography library. Computational lithography is the largest computational workload in chip design and manufacturing, consuming tens of billions of CPU hours per year. cuLitho can increase the speed of computational lithography up to 40 times faster. Previously, it took chip makers two weeks to process a single mask board, while running cuLitho on a GPU took only eight hours. Currently, the world's largest fab TSMC, the world's largest lithographer manufacturer Asmac (ASML), the world's largest EDA company Synopsys (SNPS) will use this new technology. ny one of the above pulled out, can achieve a unicorn enterprise, and so many awesome technology collection together, it is not just a unicorn, but a technology carrier, it is no wonder that Nvidia can grow so fast. It can be said that Nvidia constructs the infrastructure of artificial intelligence, it is an artificial intelligence infrastructure builder, but also a pioneer in research and development. NVIDIA released a set of hardware and software facilities that allow customers to use AI applications faster and easier, standing behind more startups to provide services. Especially ChatGPT Business emerged to accelerate the commercialization of AI on the ground, NVIDIA is facing an immense cake, on the other hand, AI will also bring disruption to the current industry. It is reported that Adobe is working with NVIDIA to build a whole set of next-generation Al for future creative work; Shutterstock is also working with NVIDIA to train a generative text-to-3D conversion base model to simplify the creation of detailed 3D assets. Jen-Hsun Huang through this launch is to tell everyone that generative AI brings this wave, everyone must participate or be eliminated. What's even crueler is that you can only participate through our products, because in the GPU space, I have no rivals! Nvidia is so expensive, why is the market still bullish? There is no doubt that Nvidia is one of the most expensive technology stocks on the planet, with a P/E ratio of 139x under GAAP and a book value of 27x. We combed through the data and found that within the past year, Nvidia's revenue growth rate was 0.22% and earnings growth rate was -54%, and revenue has declined in the last two quarters and is expected to decline year-over-year in the first quarter of this year - which doesn't match its stock price surge trend, ah. The price-to-sales ratio looks to have come to 23.9 https://preview.redd.it/ff7oodj4nnpa1.png?width=472&format=png&auto=webp&s=b2e97d1a30590e27e70b80b179a56dcb83cf45e4 And AMD only 6.51 https://preview.redd.it/ghetfoj6nnpa1.png?width=493&format=png&auto=webp&s=b63da55fad75beef1a4bafde91b4d6451dd2cb09 With the huge wave of AI, NVIDIA's dominant position leads to high valuation. It is worth noting that with the transformation of Nvidia, their business focus is no longer the game graphics business, but the data center, AI, high-performance computing and software business, while data center revenue growth rate is also much higher than the game business, and will continue to maintain this trend development in the future, so the world's demand for AI and computing power in the future will again drive the growth of Nvidia's performance. NVIDIA's market position in the data center is rock solid. Whether rival AMD, or is entering into layoffs and pay cuts, the executive exodus storm Intel, can not compete more quickly 90% of the share in the hands of Nvidia, with its direct chip competition. Therefore, Wall Street generally believes that Nvidia is somewhat similar to the Dutch lithography giant ASML: a partial monopoly, no competition at the high end of the market - one of the key factors for all investors bullish on Nvidia stock. Investment firm Baird believes "meaningful" orders are coming in for ChatGPT, and helped NVIDIA raise its data center revenue estimates for the second half of the year. We believe that although there is a lot of capital speculation in this recent AI boom, there is no doubt that the emergence of ChatGPT does allow ordinary consumers to see AI start to truly integrate into our lives, which will also accelerate future enterprise investment in AI, only in the next year or two during the period of high economic uncertainty, enterprises may not have a large capital expenditure for the time being. But for the long term, the investment in AI infrastructure and equipment will certainly be one of the biggest catalysts for Nvidia's future. submitted by Vegetable-Cobbler734 to Burystocks [link] [comments] |

2023.03.24 06:58 theproperpun Dhampir Paladin Abilities — How to distribute?
Hey all, I'm designing a level 1 Dhampir Paladin and am torn about how to design him. I'd really appreciate your thoughts!
The issue here is the Dhampir is messing with my planning around the paladins' MAD build. I'm into my Dhampir having bite smite at level 2 (Vampiric Bite + Divine Smite), but I don't know if that should factor into how I weight stats in the early game.
Our DM's allowing us to use either standard array or point buy, and we get a free feat as well. For the sake of RP—and, like, personal willpower—I'm trying to resist the temptation to min-max.
A potentially relevant character gimmick: This paladin's only recently dhampir'd, and as of the game's start will be trying to keep this under wraps. Low INT should make this a good time, RP-wise.
That being said, I'm not familiar with playing beyond level 1 — both campaigns I've been in previously have ended before levelling up to due to people moving away. (My fault, in one case.) Advice for longer-term build planning would be very much appreciated.
The other party members will be a monk; a warlock or cleric; and a rogue or ranger.
—
OPTION 1: Largely failing to resist the min-max
STR 16 (15 + 1) DEX 8 CON 15 INT 8 WIS 10 CHA 16 (14 + 2)
—
OPTION 2: More balanced? Designed for bite-based melee
STR 15 DEX 10 CON 16 (15 + 1 — up-front biting investment) INT 8 WIS 10 CHA 15 (13 + 2)
—
Or . . . ?
Feat-wise, I'm torn between Inspiring Leader and Fey Touched.
Inspiring Leader would be great, especially because game rules have characters bloodied at half-HP (can't roll hit dice to regain) but temp HP mitigates that. Fey Touched's CHA bump would be very nice with the second build, and my paladin's oath (a homebrew one) would jive thematically with Hideous Laughter.
GM's short/long rest rules are more demanding than most: Long rest is a week, short rest is a night, iirc. That may put things in favour of Inspiring Leader, but I'm also open to other feat-y suggestions.
I know polearm master is popular, and honestly it just sounds fun—and I like the potential to use it in defense of squishies. But I don't know if it would conflict with leaving STR as mid-high rather than maxed out.
Massive thanks in advance for any advice!

2023.03.24 04:54 ElliotUnbound 2nd Best Character: Felix the Galvanic Assassin
I've been just as excited for this as you guys. The "Shield of Faerghus" Felix is finally here to show how shockingly strong he is.
Despite his in-game nickname, he's far from a shield. As you'll see shortly, he has some of the highest raw damage in the game. I'm talking like Jeritza type damage. The reasons I nicknamed Felix the Galvanic Assasin are not only is he the best user of Thunderbrand, but the Assassin class has very good synergy with the sword. I know, the name is not very original 😅 but hey, it sounds awesome right?
So what exactly makes Felix so nuts? His personal Intense Velocity is one of the best in the game. It essentially gives the same effect as Ferdinand's personal, but you can activate it at any time simply by dodging in between an attack, with three tiers. He also has arguably the best unique support ability in the game, Lone Wolf. This greatly increases Felix's damage at the cost of not using a battalion. As you can probably imagine, this is ALWAYS a worthy tradeoff. Although not too important, his crest gives him a 20% chance to greatly increase strong attack damage.
I'm a firm believer in "seeing is believing," so without further ado, I present the Galvanic Assasin 🗡⚡️
CLASS: Assassin
Felix only uses combat arts with this build, so there's no need to use Trickster. Assassin also has the Swordfaire class ability, which increases critical hit rate for free. Mortal Savant is just straight up worse in this case since it has slower base movement speed and Felix is gonna be spamming his combat arts most of the time. The speed boosts from Intense Velocity stack with the base movement speed of the class he is using.
WEAPON: Thunderbrand
Felix is absolutely NUTS with this weapon. Imagine if Ferdinand was able to use Hades and Glowing Ember twice as fast, that's basically what Felix does except with electric attacks.
ACCESSORY: Lightning Dragon Sign, to get access to Foudroyant Strike.
BATTALION: None, to activate Lone Wolf.
Being weak to lances sucks, but the extra damage that Felix gets as a result is more than worth it.
COMBAT ARTS: Electric Grounder & Foudroyant Strike
Both are boosted by Essence of Lightning. Electric Grounder can be learned naturally from Trickster Lv 1.
Best class(es) to level up with: Mortal Savant x120
When I was re-leveling Felix to figure out the ideal final stats, I discovered that stat boosts gained from stat boosting items stick even when you reset characters to level 1. I used a ton of stat boosting items on Felix before ever resetting his level, so his stats still ended up crazy high after fully leveling him again.
Therefore, I'm not really sure at all what his idea final stats should be 😅 sorry guys. I promise I will revisit all my previous builds and update the recommended final stat spreads if needed. One I know for sure that needs updating is Edelgard.
A good general spread based on previous characters that I re-leveled with Mortal Savant is 110+ Str, 90+ Mag and 80+ Luck. If possible, also try to aim for 80+ Spd. If that still seems unfeasible with your attempts then 105+ Str, 85+ Mag, 75+ Spd and 70+ Luck is another good general final spread.
ABILITIES:
- Sword Prowess Lv 3
- Wild Abandon (Brigand Lv 1)
- Boost Critical
- Apex Sword
- Rejuvenation (Grappler Lv 3) - To help offset Impossible Feat recoil.
- Renewal (Bishop Lv 3) - Also helps offset Impossible Feat recoil.
- Fiendish Blow (Warlock Lv 1)
- Essence of Lightning (Warlock Lv 3)
- Luna (Great Knight Lv 2)
- Impossible Feat (Dark Bishop Lv 1)
The combination of Lone Wolf, Impossible Feat and Wild Abandon makes Felix the only character in the game with three layers of greatly increased damage. This bumps up his damage to almost the level of Jeritza. Felix's crazy movement speed and attack speed combined with his combat art spam is what enables him to surpass Jeritza though.
The only real reason I don't have Felix as the best character is because it takes a LOT of practice and skill to be able to keep tier 3 Intense Velocity active at all times and control it. Even nowadays when I want to use Felix I have to do a few practice runs to get used to using his personal again.
After months of the build series, it's finally time to showcase the Galvanic Assasin 🗡⚡️ these clips are with +100 Thunderbrand and max Str, 113 Mag, max Dex, max Spd and 100 Luck. As I mentioned earlier, I used a TON of stat boosting items on him, before the build series even started.
General gameplay, showing his super sonic speed and power More general gameplay, this guy is just so nuts Making Lorenz on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like a joke Making himself on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like a joke Defeating Ignatz, Hilda, Monica and Hubert ALL in about 30 seconds Making Dimitri on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like a joke Beating Claude on the Gatekeeper paralogue like it's nothing Beating Edelgard on the Gatekeeper paralogue like it's nothing, only few characters can do this submitted by

2023.03.24 01:50 Small-Manner-6253 Struggling with defenses
I was looking for some insight/guidance on how to build defenses properly. I feel as though I have a pretty strong Smite Paladin. I have 138 corruption in age of winter, my defenses are as follows,
1214 health, all capped resistances except a little missing (~5%) from fire, lightning. I have 50% physical, 10% poison res respectively. 49% block, block effectiveness 54%, 60% armor, 621 stun avoidance, and 30% ward retention, 45% endurance - 389 threshold, and 70% crit avoidance.
I'm using the smite paladin build that Tenkiei uses from his discord, not sure if I can post a link here since he didn't make that available online but basically a good mix of damage, heal on block, and defenses from the passive skill tree. My main issue now is I have good damage, but I keep getting one shot which surprises me because my gear seems decent and I have pretty high defenses overall at least on paper. My damage is great, but my question is what am I missing or what do I need to make sure I have to help me push towards 300 corruption? I'm a newer player so my game knowledge is not as advanced as probably many others but just looking for some clarity on what I should be focusing on or how I can change my build. I'm basically stuck in age of winter to wear I can't kill any of the bosses since I die so fast even though I get close to killing them and mapping has become difficult since I consumed my orbs and went to 138 corruption and did the monolith for quite awhile, dying a lot more than before even though my clear speed is decent. Anything you can offer would be of great help, going to farm for that unique shield because I think it'll help forget the name at the moment, but the one everyone uses for leveling.

2023.03.24 01:35 konradkurze202 10th changes to Psychic disciplines
I know there's been a bit of talk about the removal of the psychic phase, and how this can be both good and bad, but I haven't seen much discussion about the changes to remove rules outside of a unit's datasheet.
They were pretty adamant that everything you need for the unit would be on the unit datasheet, which means psychic disciplines are likely things of the past. If all a unit's rules are on the sheet they can only fit so many powers. Which means powers might end up split by caster, so Exalted sorcerer will have a few options, thrall sorcerer's might have a few different ones, DP, etc.
I'm a bit worried what this means for Rubrics and SOT, if every unit has the spells they can cast on their datasheet then we might end up with mini spells on Aspiring Sorcerers again. We might also end up having to put certain hqs with specific units (SOT bomb) because they're the ones with the right buffs. It seems like there's a lot of room for this to reduce our already limited build viability by taking away options that we use (Pyric Flux might be forced to be on a normal Sorcerer and then they have to baby sit the flamer rubrics for example).
On the flip side this might actually go a long way to making Magnus viable. Right now a spell cast by Magnus is pretty much the same as a spell cast by an Aspiring sorcerer (minus Magnus extra +2 and rerolls), but if Magnus has spells that only he has access to then maybe he can be a more exciting option, with not just a super smite but super buffs or super utility options too.
So I can see some pluses to this, but I'm very worried that our rubrics will lose a lot of their utility by having a very limited pool of spells they can use. What are you're thoughts?

2023.03.24 00:08 SlimLovin Help Me Be a Better Nile Crocodile! (Sobek Tips Plz!)
Greetings Smiters and Smoters.
I have always been a dedicated Support or Healer when it comes to gaming. (Bard in EverQuest; Doctor in Star Wars Galaxies; Priest in World of Warcraft; Zarya or Ana in Overwatch.)
I’m typically a Sylvanus player, but recently I’ve found myself obsessed with (and racking up a great win rate!) with Sobek.
When it comes to basic tactics and abilities, I think I’ve got him down—although any advice on that subject is welcome!—but I’m having trouble with builds. All the recent changes have me even more confused on what to build and when.
I’ve had decent success with the basic build listed here:
https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/sobek-s10-conquest-support-25359 But changes to Heroism and other items in general have me baffled. Im also a complete noob when it comes to the topic of “Situational Items.” (How do I know what to replace with what?)
Are there things in my typical build I should be avoiding or changing? I just want to be the best Support I can for my team!

2023.03.23 23:55 krenkotempo Is it always this bad?
Trying out conquest as a newer player. I've played MOBAs before but relatively new to Smite. Every single game I've played so far has had an afk, a troll, a bot, or a combination thereof. Is it always this bad? I'm trying to play solo and 3 times in 5 games I've had someone who just runs down solo lane all game, doesn't respond to pings, and doesn't build items(bot behavior). Also in literally all 5 games there's been a player who afks(mine or enemy team) after going 0/3 in 5 minutes. Does it get better? If so, when?

2023.03.23 23:11 Dorky_Gaming_Teach Best weapons to use with Black Emperor set/subtlety of water
I know there are a few builds out there that recommend the Golden Staff of Yu Fu, but I am curious if anyone has any other suggestions. I don't mind the move set all that much, but wanted to try some different options. Maybe weapons with different types of martial arts that help break posture.
What weapon variables are folks using with their builds?

2023.03.23 22:23 cslawrence3333 Demo/swashbuckler Smite of Merain for grapple melee build
Smite of Merain looks to be the only weapon in the game that can roll demo/swashbuckler. While normally this is a bit of a nombo, for a grapple melee spam strand build it works out very nicely, especially since grapple melee doesn't currently proc adrenaline junkie. Demo refills the grapple and reloads, grapple melee procs swashbuckler x5.
I know all primaries other than smg's kinda feel like trash in pve right now, but it once the primary buffs come through later this season it would be a nice roll target for these builds.

Hello and welcome! My name is Graeme and have been having quite a difficult time finding someone to talk to let alone actually try to move forward with being with. Been many months of nothing on my end in regards to online dating. Maine doesn't seem to be where such things really happen though so I'm starting to put myself out there to work for something long distance, preferably still U.S., but long distance nonetheless. Anyway, I'll try not to make this too long.
I'm 5'10", 155 lbs averageish build would like to try to get more in shape though. Brown eyes and hair (what little I have of it). I can send a pic upon request.
If I had to describe myself I would probably say that I'm sarcastic, witty, antisocial, introverted, kind, caring, pragmatic, a realist, consistent, dedicated, logical, well-thought out, and quiet (most of the time).
I moved to Maine from Florida for work just this previous May and have been enjoying it quite nicely. First winter with snow and cold weather. Still haven't gotten out much but I've enjoyed what I've seen so far. Need to check out some mountains though now that I actually have access to some, lol. You could say I'm a Florida Man, but I'm very timid so don't worry about me being a nut.
Career wise, I work as a structural designer for an engineering company. I really love this job, but I do intend to go a but further into my engineering career. Whether that's just literally moving into the engineering work or eventually going some where after that I plan to see how it all goes. Though I wouldn't mind moving away from here eventually either.
I'd like to think I'm at a very stable time of my life; career, car, apartment, finances, all of that. Part of why I'm here, I want to finally be able to share my life with someone. Someone I can turn to and just know that I'm happy to be around them.
Some of my hobbies: Video games (pc mostly, some switch) I've played tons of them just ask and I've probably heard of it if nothing else. Favorites include stuff like LoZ, Hollow Knight, Diablo, and Stardew Valley. Animes/TV, can't get enough One Piece, Futurama, or Adventure Time. Currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho but I'm just about to finish it so if you've got any recommendations on what I should watch next lmk. DIY projects, just starting to do 3D printing. Cooking, although I'm not very good at it, lol. I just got back into reading and I'm currently reading the 2nd Witcher book. And I do of course enjoy doing some outdoors stuff at times like hiking/camping and golfing.
If you enjoy movies I can watch just about anything. It's hard to find something that I go to watch and I just turn off, lol. But my top three movies would probably have to be: Interstellar, Life's Aquatic with Steve Sizzou, and There Will Be Blood. And of course I love all the classic stuff like Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Lord Of the Rings, and Harry Potter. It seems like the HP movies are the most rewatchable things I've ever seen idk why. Any time I see any of them come on I know I can flip that on. Even if I don't actually watch it, lol. I also just love Wes Anderson, Taika Waititi, and Quentin Tarantino films in general.
Ideally you'll be as lame and introverted as I am. If you drink and smoke, that's fine by me. Personally I don't. So ya know... all the weed would be yours if that's your thing, lol. I'm not too particular about appearances, but I will say I'm not into large gals or ladies that are much older than myself. Sounds shallow to say, but I'm just not. Don't ever let that get you down though, be the best you that you can be right?
That's mostly it about me really. Just a nerdy sort of dude that's been alone for far too long and trying to get out there. If you think you'd be interested of course lmk, maybe tell me a bit about yourself, and maybe we can jam out on some game some time to get to know each other or something. If you read all of this kudos to you and if nothing else; Good luck on your search!

2023.03.23 19:05 Subiewubie85 New low elo Zeri main here
Recently started playing League about 2 months ago, I used to play Smite but I actually enjoy this more lol. I heard Zeri is a good but hard character to play and oh man is that true. She sure is very fun to play though, super fun wall riding and firing her laser to slow and damage an enemy fleeing. Any tips on how to play her better, runes, and item build?

2023.03.23 15:07 TheOnlyMango Game crashing
I've been really enjoying my time in the game, but one thing is absolutely ruining me:
The game crashes when I use smite.
I'm playing a multistrike smite build, and I'm still leveling it (still looking for two uniques before my character comes online). In the meantime, I'm using Rive, but I've taken the smite node. I've noticed that when I lunge (and cast smite because of the node), my computer freezes. I've tried not lunging, and the game runs fine for 30 mins+. But once I start using my lunge (and by extensions, smite), the game freezes. Seeing as how my build is going to be, you know, a smite build, this absolutely means I can't play this character anymore. This absolutely sucks.
I've tried reinstalling, verifying game files, checking all my drivers etc, and NOTHING is working. It's still crashing. All graphics settings on low, nope, nothing helps.
If anyone knows of a fix, please let me know. Thanks in advance, because this is one hell of a game, but I'm going to be playing something else until this gets fixed.
Edit: seems like it is not smite, but lunge which is crashing the game. Which is worse, because not having your movement skill is, well, no other way to describe it besides unplayable, especially as a melee character.

2023.03.23 14:06 twentyO2 Turning off cross play
Ive played Yu-Gi-Oh along time now and I've never liked the way the game went the second link summoning became a thing. But I still have a competitive drive and a desire to win and be good at the game. So I downloaded Master Duel, yeah big mistake. I play on my Xbox and reached gold 4 with a cyber dragon dedicated deck minus any links or hand traps of any sort. (I find the existence of hand traps ridiculous so I just refuse to use them.) But I've noticed that once you get to this rank all you see is the same handful of decks. I know that people like to use the meta but this is getting a little ridiculous, is it the lack of real deck building knowledge that leads to everyone with a kanji username to play the meta? Even when I win it doesn't feel like a win anymore, I'm not really beating you I'm beating the deck you stole. I tried playing casual but it just doesn't have the same intensity that I crave from dueling. So I've turned off cross play and found that it's so much better, I actually get to see some people use their own decks and strategies. Would HIGHLY recommend

2023.03.23 14:04 Tommy1459DM How to I upgrade my proficiency rank with advanced weapons?
Hi, I'm kind of new to PF2e.I'm doing some builds just for fun to see what I can come up with and I was wondering how can I increase the proficiency rank of advanced weapons (such as Wind and Fire Wheel).
This is the build:
Pathbuilder Link Optional rules used: Free archetype, ABP, Ancestry Paragon.
The idea of the build here is to make a light armour champion that takes a lot advantage of create a diversion and usually fight in couple with another martial.
The strategy is: get into the fight using Underhanded Assault, then create a diversion (should last until the end of the next turn), then use smite evil, strike (adding sneak and smite damage), then diversion again (at this point the enemy hopefully fail and still attacks our ally, thus smite evil keeps on going, the next turn i have enough action to use double slice and diversion again.... etc etcas long as I'm hidden smite evil should persist saving on action economy. I can also use returning weapons in combo with Dual Trower and if I don't use that I can use Radiant Blade Spirit for extra damage.

2023.03.23 12:07 HodyShoran Amor and Martial Arts for Wizardry Build
I can't get the Toaist Amor yet and trying to make a build mainly focused on Wizardry and Spells. Trying to stay as far away as possible on the one side and if I have to get envolved or hit, I dont want to be a glass cannon.
Have tried the Tianzhu Hermit Set and the Baihu Armor set by now and tried to tailor it for a mage build, like with Wizardry Spell Damage on all pieces. But it seems some parts of the Warlock sets are way superior in that.
So my two or three questions are does it makes sense to mix and match, like to use for example the Warlock Robe and Legs plus each's 4,0% Spell Damage and take armor with higher defense stats for arms and head or do I look out for some set that has a set bonus (mostly none of the set boni seem to comfort spell casting apart the Toaist set)
Secondary which weapon preferably with a unique Martial Arts do I use until I get my hands on the Sword of Yu The Great. So far rocking the jade green staff or dual tiger helbards.
Any help from fellow spellcasters much appreciated
